Ok, if nothing was done wrong, as HRC contends, then why not answer the questions?
Same thing with the IRS thing, not one smidgen of corruption.  So, why take the 5th?

HRC is phonier than a 3 dollar bill dirtier than a steaming pile of dog poop and more crooked than the tail of the dragon (there its Valkyrie related) and now its been revealed because of the newest Trump allegation (and the FBI is still investigating her for it) of criminal activity during the time she was Sec of State.

Now that the accusation that she committed at least one felony is seemingly a credible accusation, maybe finally we can see her behind bars or at very least not a candidate for POTUS

Because they think we're dumber than we seem and eventually will forget all about everything.  And guess what, we proved them right.  They plead the 5th with the IRS, tried to destroy digital files and e-mails, and nobody was indicted or arrested.  Everyone either lied (including the president) or pleaded the 5th and nothing happened.

This only confirms my opinion of Hilary.   But, I don't understand how he can plead the fifth if, he's agreed to an immunity deal.   If he doesn't tell all, he should be charged with obstruction of justice.

All you need to do is view the obituaries of all of the people who were set to testify against the Clintons.

The talking heads explained that there could be a civil suit which will include him, and anything he says during this "inquiry" can be used during the civil trial.

He cut the deal with the Justice Department and FBI.  He has spilled his guts to the FBI and has no obligation to talk to anybody else in the spirit of the Immunity deal with DOJ.  What Judicial Watch wants doesn't matter, they carry no weight in this case.   The bigger issue is Obama has more than likely told Lynch that she will NOT act upon any recommendation by Comey for a Grand Jury leaving the path clear for HRC.  If she wins she's golden, if she looses then it's up to Trump to pursue her.

Personally, I don't think she'll be indicted while zero is in office. Reason being, she is known to have had emails to/from him while Sec'y. of State so if she gets hauled into court, she isn't going down alone and zero knows it. However, if Trump gets in it will most likely be a whole different ball game. I have a feeling over the next few months you're going to hear some real hard facts on her come out from the Trump camp. The media will never bring it up which leaves a multitude of voters in her camp that don't really know her and her history. Just last night at the dinner table, the subject came up with my wife re. Hillary, done while the news was heralding what a great person she is and how she's always been successful in all she's done. I just casually mentioned that as long as nobody knows she didn't pass the D.C. bar exam at first, and was fired from the investigative team on Watergate due to illegal and questionable tactics. My wife had no idea, I told her she's just one of a few million that "has no idea" what that woman is really like.

That is true.  Deal is with the FBI.  Totally agree with everything else said on this topic up until now in spades.  I have know so much of this since the early 90s, but the lame stream will give her a pass as always.  They are as crooked as her.

In fairness the 5th amendment is the RIGHT against self incrimination.  To be what it was intended to be one (or the court, or the congress, or public opinion of devoted Americans) cannot assume guilt implied by the use of the 5th.

We must be careful as we herald the importance of the rights that are guaranteed by the Constitution that we do not seem to imply that one is not to be used or allowed in the case of one with whom we greatly disagree.

As to how I know the above I will have to plead the fifth.

Uh....Carl, you can't use that with Lori.  It only works in court.  Wink

As for personal experience, I've used it myself in court many years ago. The other party in the action finally manned up and admitted he was responsible. My portion was dropped, thankfully I was never asked why I pled as I did.

Yes, the fifth is an important right.  But most all immunity deals require you to waive the fifth (and often take multiple polygraphs on what you do say; and pass them all), and cooperate fully, and if you screw up your side of the deal, the deal is off, and they can use everything you said during the deal against you.

But true, the deal is with the G, not just anyone who asks questions.  Indeed your immunity deal may include that you not talk to anyone else.  But on the stand, the other side has full cross exam rights.

It gets more complicated, there is USE immunity and TRANSACTIONAL immunity.  One is better than the other for the guy getting the deal.
