Yes they should because the high court's 4-4 deadlock means President Obama's plan to defer deportation for millions of workers who are in the country without visas has been blocked. A majority of justices would have been needed to overturn a lower court's ruling that Obama's plan was beyond the power of the executive branch.

Businesses and unions often disagree on public policy. But after the Supreme Court's tie vote on immigration Thursday, company executives and labor leaders united to call on Congress to settle the issue.

And do you know why business and unions want this settled and why Obama did this against the best interest of the American people? Who brought this suit and why, that preserved a small slice of America.

Because one of the main features of this bill was that businesses could hire foreign workers and place them in jobs, pay them less money throw out American workers and grant them citizenship. All this without the approval of Congress and the American people.

The story below is one example of the destructive power of this president and what we mean by making America great again

Once upon a time, there were about 250 tech workers who were running the computers in the central nervous system of Disney World operations. Then, one day, Disney laid them all off, hired immigrants brought in on visas to take their place, and required many of the former employees to train their replacements.

This isn’t your typical Disney-fairytale, but this is what The New York Times reported Thursday.

In October 2014, about 250 employees were laid off and Disney used an outsourcing firm in India to hire immigrants that would work under a temporary visa, known as H-1B, for highly skilled technical workers. Some employees’ severance checks required they continued doing their job for the next three months as they trained their replacements

I say this again and again this country was founded on laws and a system of laws that were established by procedures for the benfit of all who are citizens in this country. Graft, corruption, special interests and the lack of morals of the president and the congress have made this country a different place all to benefit a few. NOT the American people as a whole.

So when we hear about the elites spouting political correctness and the liberals supporting a candidate that has a pending criminal investigation against her

Why dont we say when you can follow the rule of law then you can say we are not politically correct.  cooldude cooldude

Make America great again  cooldude cooldude

I ask the liberals on this board who has the Supreme court ruled against more than any other president?
How did we get to a point that we have to go to the courts to settle what should have been settled in government?
Since without political correctness dividing the country in unity we can take this country back and stop a rouge government

YES CONGRESS SHOULD ACT TO UPHOLD AND PRESERVE THE LAWS ALREADY ON THE BOOKS, THAT INCLUDES SECURING OUR BOARDERS.

Robert, well said, except for the last part. I believe, by accident, that you meant borders not BOARDERS.

Boarders was a term involving piracy (not too far off).

Ah yes, the idiosyncrasies of the English Word.

Obama has already declared he is going to ignore the ruling of the Court, and NOT deport.

Most Lawless President we have ever had.

I meant pirates, but did spell it wrong not enough time to proof read  Grin Thanks

I am revising this to include Obama refused to enforce the defense of marriage act and again shows that if we don't follow the rule of law then NOTHING and NO ONE is safe from arbitrary rules, regulations and enforcement. This is rebellion EXACTLY what we see in this country rising its ugly head. Where do You think the Congressmen and women that staged a sit in got the idea? Ryan said it correctly it went through proper channels and still rebellion and ego take precedence.  This goes to the character of who we have elected and the character of who we will have next. This is the root of divide in this country.

It's called selective enforcement.   No one will be moving south due to this ruling.   Obama will not go after anyone but Trump.
