I seldom open carry. But I like seeing other people do so. Number one, it just makes me feel good about my state and my country.

Number two, well, at least 50% of open carriers around here are female and we all know there's just something about "girls and guns".  Grin

Being in Law enforcement I don't really care one way or the other. I personally like to keep mine concealed when off duty and I am directed to by my general orders of the Dept. Yes every now and then my shirt my ride up and my holster will show. If it is permitted in your State to open carry then you have that right. Who am I to say you should not. However as many have mentioned here you become a target. Your walking along and someone comes up behind  you and pops you on the back of the head knocks you unconscious. Now you got a real problem hopefully you are not shot with your own gun. I'm not saying not to open carry but just think real hard about when and where you do it is all.
