George Soros denies it, just like Hillary denies any wrong doing.  Wink  There are some powerfull forces at work to try to change/destroy this country at this time. You may not like Trump but he has not thrown in with this kind of thing. Obama is funded by Soros also.

http://blackcommunitynews.com/the-real-power-and-purpose-behind-black-lives-matter-movement/
Whatever legitimacy the “Black Lives Matters” (BLM) movement may have is lost in its funding from one George Soros. Mr. Soros is the major financial source responsible for funding the leftist movement in America. (See link for list of left wing organization funded by George Soros.

Groups like ACORN and Occupy Wall Street are a disruptive influence in our culture and seek to divide and transform our society into a Marxist design. Linked to this disruptive scheme is Black Lives Matters through Soros support and funds.

Planned Parenthood and its partners in death the abortion industry
is very telling about their concern for the community. These merchants of death have destroyed over 35 million black babies since 1973 and have psychologically scared thousands upon thousands of black women for profit. More black babies are aborted than any other ethnic group in America.

Exposed: Who’s REALLY Behind Black Lives Matter And What They Are Trying To Do Next

http://www.westernjournalism.com/exposed-whos-really-behind-black-lives-matter-and-what-they-are-trying-to-do-next/

The Washington Times exposed last January that leftist billionaire George Soros gave more than $30 million in seed money to Black Lives Matter affiliated groups.

According to Essence magazine, Google is also helping to fund the Black Lives Matter movement, giving $2.35 million in grants to activist organizations addressing the “racial injustices that have swept the nation.”

Now, Politico reports that “some of the biggest donors on the left plan to meet behind closed doors next week in Washington with leaders of the Black Lives Matter movement and their allies to discuss funding for the burgeoning protest movement.”

Robert,  I think that most of us are well aware of what's been happening to our country.

Day after Day, we see and hear of bad news.

At one time, this forum , for ME, was the place to go to get an attitude adjustment, along with riding my Valkyrie.

Now, it seems that it is a place for bad news.  I wonder if we could have just a little more of Smokin' Joe's contribution's and others arranging and talking about rides.

I am not intending this as an argument for making this general board only for motorcycle related news. just a little tired of seeing bad news and stressed discussions about it here on this forum.

Jes my opinion for what it's worth.

I second this motion. And am going to make a conscious effort to talk more of riding and less of politics.

I am also concerned that yes this country is changing and didn't know that Soros may be helping the unrest and divide. The fact that this may be a political movement rather than one of concern for blacks. I am not stopping anyone from posting what they want and if you don't want to be informed then don't click on the post.

Sorry you are tired of hearing this country is changing and know you battle also and may want to settle into bliss but the reality is either we do something and know where the battle is and who may be at the root or we loose. I must admit I am tired of seeing things go the way they have been.

This is not a political argument unless some may want to turn it into that. If it makes anyone feel any better I am going to post about a ride I had this weekend. But even on that ride I was praying for this nation and am concerned if this is true we have some real powerful forces trying to change the US.

The irrelevance of this post will be shown by the others posting riding posts and will fall back out of que just like normal. I kind of hope it doesn't though because it will show that others are as interested as me in the players of confusion and strife are in the US. The idea that one man is making you feel unrested and worried is kind of funny and want to retreat because he sure wont. Maybe that is the exact reason this post is relevant.

We are living in amazing times, we are writing new history everyday and in the balance is what we call the US. An idea of some people to come to a new land and be able to be freemen and worship like they want. We watch as powerful forces try to change things to a way that was not envisioned by the Founders of this country. We have a choice to let things progress as others want or to speak up so that the changes wont happen or may be delayed. We may not be around but our children will and grandchildren so lets just not let the ball get kicked down the court.

So don't worry the tie down straps will take precedence over the truth of our nations influences and we can all feel warm and fuzzy.

Good posts Robert.
Post what interest you, others do.
Reply when you want to, others do.
Ignore when you want to, others do.

As of right now it is a free country. That may not last, as the freeloaders and lawbreakers continue to want destructive self serving change.

In some views the USA is the last hope for a free society in this world.  And they may be right.

If this is where many of our online friends are, this is where we post our joys, griefs, questions, and concerns, regardless of whether they are Valkyrie related.  I usually skip posts that I'm not interested in; you can too.

One old adage is to ask oneself WHY and HOW something is suddenly so up front in the news

You know the who when why where and how stuff?

Influence is peddled in our country and it is peddled by those within and without this country

There are always and always will be competing agendas in a free country.    It would do us and also our children well that we learn the ways both socialist, communist, facsist and UN agendas are derived and the ways they are spread.

Also they must learn about the unfortunate trend used by groups (a favorit weapon of various Arab groups here and in Europe) to delegitimize people of different races and religions.

Follow the money is a good place to start but I mean really follow the money dont just say Soros this or Rothchild that without proof

In my office hangs a Norman Rockwell print entitled FREEDOM OF SPEECH

please take a moment to read the link

Evan, I have a coffee table book of Rockwell's work.  I'm well aware of his 'illustration'  "Freedom of Speech".   Norman Rockwell never called his work 'paintings' he called them 'illustrations' but he was a master of meaningful illustration and was a modest man.

Don't see much of that any more.

I see and understand what solo1 is saying, I also see the point Robert is making. I live in a suburb of Atlanta and it has been a non-stop barrage of this insanity. Now the mayor of Atlanta is mentioning the possibility of a curfew of the metro area.

Un-contolled this behavior will destroy our way of life in a short period. I have enclosed an article that was given by the Black Police Chief of Milwaukee, Wis. Interesting read and perspective and my last comment on this matter. http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2016/07/11/sheriff-david-clarke-its-time-to-stand-up-to-black-lives-matter.html] http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2016/07/11/sheriff-david-clarke-its-time-to-stand-up-to-black-lives-matter.html

No surprises there. Sure glad I don't live anywhere near an urban area. But, if the hate mongers are successful, none of us, urban or PoDunk will be able to escape it.

Just because I posted about less political discussion doesn't mean I'm not caring about the state of our country.  However, for the most part, we are preaching to the choir.

At this point, only our vote will matter (and we have poor choices).

I must agree.  The question of who is funding Black Lives Matter is of great importance, but the major industrialists who fund the vast majority of conservative "think tanks" seem to be granted a much easier "Pass straight to GO"; exactly how much is "our way of life" being twisted with that agenda?

Life will always change.  If all you're worried about is making sure the status quo stays that way, you'd make Archie Bunker proud.

Yeah, it is a real downer avoiding all those killings, demonstrations, riots and property damage events of the conservatives, christian right, republicans, fly over country folks and good ole americans.

I wonder how the main stream media misses reporting all those events. Must be something "funny" going on.

Robert!! I can understand what you are talking about and see the things going on around you. Others see it too, but it is a standoff between the caring public and the offenders.  George S, is only one variable to the equation, the issue is more complex then the media displays. Understand the media works in their best interest and not ours; they are more designed to insight us rather than inform us.  I understand what Wayne is feeling, he is looking at our Valk web site as a time out to reality, it seems that every way you turn it seems it’s all negative, and it is hard to collect one’s thought and sanity.  So some look at this site for escape from it all. Unfortunately we are like family and reach out to one another  for some rational support, when we express our thoughts.   When it comes to people, we all handle things in our different ways, some good, some not so good, keep in mind, you can lead the horse to the water but you can’t make him drink.  People are the same way; some are just trying to handle the issues, and are not sitting with their heads in the sand.  All though think these issues are not their problem and it will just go away, also.  Far as VOTES MATTER!! That is true, and is coming up the road, but sending email, letters or phone call to your Local, State or Federal Representative, happens NOW.  Will it change the world, maybe not, but they know you are watching, and could influence their choice. Think about this, you heard “no news is good news” well if you don’t express your thoughts, our Reps, may think everything is OK , if you don’t let them know, not all of them are the enemy.  I hope this makes sense!!

No they didn't. The Republic of Cyprus is where that happened.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/customers-at-cyprus-biggest-bank-stung-by-60-raid-on-savings-8555078.html

This was done in part because many international crooks/bad guys were using the major Cypriot banks to money launder.

Just as they used the Bank of Credit and Commerce International back in the early 90's.
