Any good wineries we can stop at to stock up on adult grape juice on the route?   Cheesy
Quote
like Gavin said there is Oliver winery north of  Bloomington or 12 miles from Martinsville in on HWY 37 that is if you are going that way. if not there is Turtle Run Winery about 7 miles from motel.  Take HWY 62 east out of Corydon to St. perters church rd.  address is 940

The winery:

Baden Springs (French Lick) has a casino, but it's some distance from Corydon.  I'll put my money elsewhere.  Wink

Looking forward to seeing the friends and doing the ride.

Sept 2 cut off date is comeing up.  You will still be able to get a room by telling them you are with the Dragon Round-up Ride. After the cut off date the motel will open the remaining rooms to the public.

Going to be a good ride. In keeping with the September 2nd cut off date for rooms, just a reminder a September 5th  cut off date for ordering the T-shirts that Rainman designed for this ride. Message me if you want to order a T-shirt for the 2016 Dragon Round Up ride.........   cooldude cooldude

If you are looking for a ride to beat all rides,  you need to make this one.  Steve and the rest have put together an outstanding event in Southern Indiana that will make all other events seem calm.  There is not a lot of time left,  S  O  get off your small donkey and get registered for the most fun you will have this year.  There is a tremendous amount of friends that are coming and YOU NEED TO BE THERE.  It will be in Corydon, Ind. and you can read the dates and motel information to get all the details.

You will not have this much fun and excitement with your clothes on.  So,  pack a few duds and come on down for an event that you will talk about for years.  You may even get to meet a few famous people that will be there.

Just a heads up on what happened to me...

I got an email this morning from my credit card company saying that I had a charge from the Super 8 Corydon.  This seemed off to me so I called the hotel.  The guy I spoke (Peter) said that the charge was because I didn't stay in the hotel last night (as per the reservation).  Needless to say, I was floored because I had specifically told the person I made the reservation with that it was September...not August...and for 2 nights, not just one.

Peter states that he changed the reservation to the correct dates for the Round-Up and that I would only be charged for 1 night (since my credit card has already been charged) for the stay of 2 nights.  Needless to say, I am not fully convinced that I am not going to have issues from this...but it is what it is and I will deal with it when I get there.

The point of my post is to caution everyone to check their credit card statements and see if a room charge for the Super 8 in Corydon shows up for today.  If it does, then they have done the same thing to you that they done to me and you need to call the hotel and get it straightened out before the ride comes about...otherwise, you may not have a room that you thought you did.

Joe you need to call back and cancel that room at the Super 8 and call the Comfort Inn and get a room there. I hear we have 45 rooms booked as of yesterday.

Right.  I contacted them and they said they cancelled the reservation...and will refund my card.  I just hope I don't need to get together a certain biker gang while out there to strong arm some justice out of them.   Evil

Yeah...I really feel sorry for them....

After further consideration, we have decided to camp.  We will be staying at the Grand Trail Campgrounds.  The price was too little to pass up.

This event really does need to be bumped back up to the top of the page.

An excellent event put on by some fun folks in a wonderful riding area.

It don't git no better.  Wink

Ron. are you gonna have that daymaker head light installed before you get to the DRU? I'd like to see what it looks like before I pull the trigger.
