Riders in the Virginia Hampton Roads / Tidewater/ NE North Carolina region

Hey there Everyone in the Hampton Roads Area and any riders in Northeastern North Carolina. Was thinking about getting a ride together Sunday 8/28/16. The weather is gonna be great and we could stop for a early  lunch. The ride will start at a meetup spot then ride over to Yorktown Virginia for a great lunch at The Yorktown Pub. Great Food!!!! Ask This Fat Man and he will tell you.... After lunch we ride the colonial parkway all the way down to Jamestown and do the 5 & Dime Ride. Up route 5 to either the Benjamin Harrison Memorial Bridge or we could ride all the way up to 295 get on that then catch route 10 coming back down. Either way it will be a great ride no matter what we do. Let me know your suggestions, who will be going and a good starting time/meetup place. Kinda wanted to sleep in on Sunday just a little Getting ready to head out for awhile on my Death Horse and will be heading over to Bike night at Quaker Steak in Newport News tonight. Sounds like fun. We could meet in Suffolk or Smithfield around 11 and take the Ferry over and ride the Colonial Parkway to the Yorktown Pub for lunch. 5 and dime is a nice route.

Details, details....

I've asked the wife to join me on this ride / get-together and I have a tentative OK. Her health isn't the greatest so she may cancel the morning of. I won't go without her this time (no offense, but I go on way too many rides without her and she's due for some social fun).

I'd have to ride the 93 since my Valk's pinion cup went south on me yesterday morning. Send me a PM or email (Earl43P at Hotmail dot com) so I can confirm or decline at the last minute it if this firms up. I have helmet Bluetooth phone (Sena 10) and I'll add my phone # to the email list.

In other words, count me in as a definite MAYBE.

Country, not going to be able to make this one.  Work will be picking up for the next 6 weekends, but most any Sunday in September is good, and  couple Saturdays as well.  Thanks for reaching out to me.  TJ

Hey there Hampton Road Riders and Earl43p 
Lets get some ideas together of a ride in the next few weeks. Meet in the Middle is happening this Labor Day Weekend and then Delmarva Bike Week in Ocean City is September 16th - 18th. We could try for a ride on either September 10th or 11th. Myself along with Dan & Trish have suggested the 5 & Dime Route with a great lunch at the Yorktown Pub. Lets get suggestions, dates and times out there so we can get another great ride going. Hope you all have a great holiday weekend and always ride safe my friends
