I've always taken Snopes with a grain of salt in political matters... Generally they haven't flat out lied before, they usually just try to twist things around, spin it, or selectively choose what they will and won't refute though... Edit - Or to put it another way, I consider them as the start of research, not the end of it. |

Maybe we didn't know any better way back then, maybe we weren't as sophisticated, maybe just naive. We all trusted Walter to talk us like it was. And for the most part I think he did. He never really let on that he was a huge liberal, he was a newscaster, first and foremost. That might be the rub. How many newscasters do we have today, most appear to me to be commentators that just try and put their own spin on everything. |

I especially enjoy that NPR/PBS is partially funded by US taxpayers, and are leftist through and through... though they make nominal efforts to try and make it look like they are neutral. Every cent of their public funding should be cut off. While many of their programs, documentaries, nature and history pieces are very well done and apolitical, their news is far from apolitical.

There were NO American Flags at the DNC on opening day. After a LOT of kickback, they quickly found some, and put them up for the rest of the convention.
Snopes showed a picture of Day TWO, called it Day ONE, and claimed as FALSE that there were no flags there on Day One.
What is "horse pucky" about that? They LIED. PERIOD.
The only "horse pucky", is your attempt to deflect and divert.
