So I saw this video on the Freebeer & Hotwings website, instead of posting the link from their webpage I posted from YouTube. What a bunch of jerks. After the video there are other videos available to see what these nuts do and think they're so cool and badass.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cY38-BFSsvM

I like the way everyone rides off and leaves him and in another video I watched, a cop tries to stop someone on a bike by hand and the rider guns it and looses control thru an intersection and leaves the bike to hop on with someone else and take off.

I tend to blame the cops, they allow this to go on without protecting the general public. It has to stop. They act like gangsters. None of them have respect for the law and deserve to lose their bikes and license. I have no sympathy for them.

It all happened before the LEO arrived. But I do agree with them losing license and bikes.

I was in DC 2 summers ago about 6-7 large city blocks north of Obama's mansion.  First day saw a large group of gang bangers (looked like) driving thru town a bunch of LOUD ATV 's and crotch rockets/dirt bikes about 20-30 of them making all kinds of racket ripping thru busy city traffic.  Most were not legal being atv's and dirt bikes.

You'd think crap like that would not happen so close to so much security areas where there are 1000's of armed security officers all over that area just south of where we stayed at the fancy hotel.

The silver lining is that stuff like this, that any sane rider would avoid doing, contributes to the stats on bike deaths.
Just idiots.

One thing I've wondered about when I see the videos of these future organ donors behaving badly on their crotch rockets. Has anyone ever heard of or been inadvertently caught up in these shenanigans while out on your any/every day rides?

I would hope that any cop that was involved with busting these idiots would have the sense to see that riders like us have nothing to do with that crap, and not bother us.

Just a thought.

many police districts have given up on trying to stop it, citing safety issues with stopping and chasing these guys.  in groups like this there isn't much the cops can really do, they may get one or two but will never get them all.

A couple years ago I watched a documentary on TV about what I thought was going to be a story about a kid from the Baltimore area that became a motorcross racer to get away from the thug life but it was just the opposite.

it was called the 12 o'clock boys;

If they would work half as hard finishing school and learning an honest job..........oh well, seems it will never be as long as we keep giving their parents all the free stuff.

craziest thing I have EVER seen is a guy on a crotch rocket throwing sparks up from his feet hitting concrete coming at me doing 60+ mph on a straight, smooth road.  He must have had metal skid shoes on standing up BESIDE his bike with feet on the road and standing up alongside his bike just hanging onto his handlebars.

I didn't think that was even possible?   uglystupid2

That's the problem. The cops have given up. It's the same with rioters and protesters blocking the highways. This country is overdue for a wake up call. The nuts are taking over.

It happens all the time in Philadelphia. There are groups (gangs) of ATV and dirt bikes that will just terrorize the streets by the hundreds. Happens mostly in the warm weather. Cops do nothing to stop it......

I was in a three lane backup on my valk (waiting my turn), when suddenly there could be heard multiple sirens, followed by a half dozen rockets flying past between the cars and over the yellow center (fleeing and eluding).  One of them hit the back of a van several rows ahead and fell off and lay there.

A cop came flying up the breakdown lane, screeched his car slowing down and gave me a hard look.  I gave him a smile and a thumbs up and then pointed at the guy on the ground (my bike was in the off position, and on the side stand).  He returned the smile and commenced to arrest that guy.  No one seemed particularly motivated to get out and assist the fallen hooligan.  Me either.  I think most of them got away.

Big city cops probably have SOPs forbidding many hot pursuits, but small town boys are mostly free to do what they want.... and they wanted to catch those guys.

I say good luck and good hunting.

I have often noted the paradox that decades ago, it was the bearded tattooed Hog riders who were the big hooligans giving motorcycles a bad name, and being chased by the coppers (and young people were on small hondas, meeting the nicest people).  And while some of that continues with the outlaw gangs, today most of the old bearded tattooed guys are just cruising around, and it is the young rocket riders (zip splats) giving bikes a bad name and playing fox and hounds with the police.

All it would take is a "zero tolerance" policy so the bike and all the riding gear used gets confiscated the FIRST offense, plus loss of m/c license for at least a year, second offense permanent loss of m/c endorsement.

Then start picking off the stragglers that can be stopped without a high speed chase and soon the rest will get the message.

The mentality that nothing can be done is UNAMERICAN.  Something can always be done.  We just don't have the stomach for the harder things anymore I guess.

With parental guidance like that, there's little hope for rational behavior.  Sad!

No cops around but I dont think it would matter

Most were doing wheelies, no helmets some no shoes

no sympathy from this quarter if one of them is hurt

Lol....that creates quite the image.....these guys piss me off because they come up out of nowhere! At speeds that are outside of crazy. It doesn't matter if you're on your bike or in a car. I don't have my eyes glued to my rearview mirror every second that I'm out there. It takes nothing to just nudge over for any reason at all, and BAM! Now you're in for all kinds of BS.
