Lately I've been going on some rides with a great bunch of folks, the Coastside Armada.  It's a Harley Club, but they make an exception for the Valkyrie.  A couple of weeks ago I rode from Elk Grove to Citrus Heights to meet up with the Sac crew.  Then we rode down to McGuire's HD in Pacheco to meet up with other members from Norcal.  There was probably about 50 bikes that all rode together from there through Napa and stopped in Calistoga for a great BBQ lunch.  After we tripped around town a little bit, the Sac crew rode through Berryessa and then back to Sacramento.

It was beautiful weather, warm but not too hot.  The scenery is absolutely amazing, the twisties along the way were lots of fun.  The road captains were great!  They kept things moving at a good pace, blocked off intersections, and slowed traffic as needed so the group could change lanes together.  Very well organized as usual.  I like how active the group is, and what good company they are.  I'm patching in!

Those are some great roads. I've done many of them on a Yamaha 750. I'm surprised a Harley club would let you become a member.

Didn't see where he said they let him become a member just said he had been doing some rides with them.

Daddie-o, are you in the picture? Making a run through the area you described is something I'd like to add to the bucket list. The list has become more of a washtub I'm afraid and I don't have that many years of riding left.  Cool
