Looking at tankbags, will most adapt to our Valks, or are they different shapes? Tried googling this and could not find any answers. Like to carry a couple bottles of water, camera, maybe a snack, possible pistol, glasses etc. and a map on top. Thanks

I only use a tank bag when fully loading for extended stay.  I have a First Gear Laguna with GPS pocket.  http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/41801/i/firstgear-laguna-gps-tank-bag-with-backpack?SITEID=Google+SEARCH+NON-BRAND+Product+Level+Ads+-+Google+Shopping+Campaign+Brands&P_ID=1738963538&adpos=1o3&creative=93111300293&device=c&matchtype=&network=g&gclid=CPz0nrzK1s4CFZQlgQodTCUNqQ
This is a large bag but works well for me on my standard.  The grips touch the bag when at full lock.  I use the magnets and straps and the bag never has moved at any speed or thru any maneuver.  It does set over the fuel cap so I release the front and roll it back when I need to add fuel.

I was runnin' this.... on an IS. One of the biggest out there & it fit perfect.
It's probably the thing I miss the most since we went Wing.

Roadgear.com has a tank bag that I use. Magnetic attachment with a window pouch for maps or notes.

Got mine (a good one, BTW, and priced right) from Jafrum.
I have gotten many quality pieces from them.
Fast shipping.
No, I do not work for them.
Just thought you might like to know.

Ride safe, y'all!

I've bought some stuff from my local cyclegear store

https://www.cyclegear.com/tank-bags

BILT products are cheapest made usually won't last more than 3-5 years before ripping seams but then again only cost 1/3rd the cost as well and do carry a no questions asked 1 year warranty.  I got one bilt bag replaced under 1 year warranty a seam broke open took into store replaced free of charge with receipt of course.
