used up all at once!

http://www.channel3000.com/news/Neighbors-return-to-their-homes-for-first-time-after-explosion/41394176

talk about a WOW factor.  The homeowner was inside when his house exploded to basically twigs and rubble.  They dug his body out of the rubble in the yard to a shocking breathing and still alive should make a recovery but still in bad shape of course.

I guess a few neighbors homes also have to be torn down due to the flying debris.  Just WOW.

Report say the BOOM could be heard for some 10 miles away it was that loud.

Just lucky no one besides homeowner was seriously hurt.

Gas company said no gas leak but still investigating the reasoning on why?    What else could it have been??

How can they say there was no gas leak if the house is no longer there? Unless all the gas-fed devices are still intact.
**EDIT** Okay, I just reads a couple of the articles, and the gas company said there was no evidence of a leak in their underground distribution system. My guess is that the furnace or stove or hot water tank had a gas leak.
