I'm in the process of selling my 1997 Valk..Standard = "Bumble Bee".  It looks like a tourer.  It has California Side car bags, chrome bags guards, Corbin dual seats, Honda windshield.  There are a number of other things added to the bike, but, I might sell off the bags, bag guards, and windshield seperatly. Then I will sell the bike as a Standard model.

Questions...anybody have a "ballpark" price on the bags, bag guards, and windshield???

I can't do the long rides anymore (back) and arthritis in both thumbs.  It's been a great ride for the past 52 years, but, everything come's to and end sooner or later Cry  I have used this forum over the years for many helps and hints on keeping the Valk in good service.  My Valk has never seen the inside of a dealers backroom, only my garage.   I have not put the bike on the site "classifieds" yet. Thanks everyone.

TIA

I can only say you will get more $ selling off the bags/extras sepparately. But then, I wouldn't buy a bike that didn't have storage on it, based upon my riding style. That's why I own an IS.

The extras, I fell, make the bike more desirable. They only make it worth more, if the purchaser wants those items added to their bike too. That's why there is the Std, Tourer & IS.

OEM bags seem to be worth from around the $600 - $1K range, hardware included. But yours are a custom color, and won't match any bike out there (picture?).

The bags will top out at $1,000.  The windshield is worth several hundred.

Honestly they'll add value to the Standard.  It's probably not worth your effort to strip them off.  Without the bags the Standard will be worth much less and you may have a really hard time finding a buyer.

Can I send anyone photos of the bike and have them post them to this thread?

TIA

I would just sell it all as one package.  The few extra 100's you will make selling separately probably is not worth the time or hastle.  Bags at least 600 with hardware and Honda windshield with hardware probably 200-250 bucks in good shape.

If special bumble bee color,  then for sure sell all as one since more desirable and easier sale.

Nice looking bike Jerry  cooldude
I see you put the bike in our classifieds. I don't think I can put the the pics over on there. Maybe if Willow sees this he will be kind enough to transfer them over.   cooldude Good luck on the sale, I think that is a very fair price.  cooldude

Jerry, I think you can modify your post over there and add them. But other users can't. If you can't add the pics maybe add a link to this thread.  cooldude

Those are great bags and hard-to-find bag guards. Someone would
be lucky to buy that Valkyrie fixed up like that with the OEM
windshield and all...
