With all the great chrome on my '99 Tourer, the stock riser clamp looks pathetic. It's not polished and has a few minor blemishes. Where can I find a spiffier replacement? (Yes, I said spiffier.) I did see one with a clock in the middle, which would be fantastic. But anything that looks better than the stock piece that is on there.

I've looked on the various aftermarket sites and can't find much.

Thanks!
Jeff

If you are wanting to keep the stock risers I would think you could remove the top bridge and polish it up real nice. There are many aftermarket chrome risers, but I think most don't have a single bridge top.

Yea. I'm pretty happy with the stock risers, and I've seen some really nice top bridges on other bikes. But I haven't been able to find one to buy.

I'll try the polishing.

I like the look of the individual clamps rather then the dogbone.  the clamps used on Magnas can be found at any motorcycle salvage yard (or Pinwall).

I think Show Chrome/BigBikeParts made a single top-clamp in chrome that was identical to the OE aluminum one.  The OE aluminum one can be shined to a high polish, with a little work.  I had a buddy that took his OE clamp to a gunsmith, and had it engraved (like firearms engraving), and polished.

Aeromach still makes chrome risers with individual clamps for Valk.  They used to make a Reaper single top-clamp that worked with their 4" honda risers.  I have it on one bike.

A lot of guys glue Velcro to the OE top-clamp to hold cell phones and GPS, and all manner of electronic tomfoolery.

The Reaper.

If shopping around for a single clamp, remember that Hog and Kawasaki use a 3.5" riser spacing design, and everyone else (and Honda) uses a 100MM (4") spacing.

Always liked the look of the Show Chrome piece.  May be approaching unobtanium status...

I used Harley Deuce risers. Individual, and are taller and bring bars back closer to rider.  Really helped my back.
