If weather cooperates I'm running the bike through a radar run on Saturday. Any predictions on how quick it will go in the 1/4?

Street or Strip?

If it was me, I know what the answer is already.   Within 5 mph of the posted speed limit.  Wink

13.43 seconds and 98 mph?   Roll Eyes

I think it will take a very good ride to get under 13 seconds, but can be done.

Just a trigger wheel, K&N filter, and slight exhaust mod.

Make sure your tires are up and the bags and trunk are empty. Practice a few quick starts in some out of the way place just for the experience. The start often makes a huge difference in the time/speed.

Kinda funny watching the reaction of the kids now with their "hot rod" Hondas, Nissans, etc., with the echo can on the tailpipe....thinking that makes it sound like a Ferrari. They pull up next to me at a light in a lane that merges into mine, sit there and gun the engine, letting the car lurch a bit at times, making all kinds of racket. Light goes green and I'm gone, no cutting me off at the merge. Really pisses them off some times. One little darling tried it for the next four lights and lost every time, he had to finally roll down his window and say something smart. I just laughed at him, told him "I've spent more time at the starting line than you have driving, if you're trying to be a p****, you're really good at that." He turned the corner and drove away....slowly.  Smiley

One of the things I used to do when I rode sport bikes was use clutchless up-shifts. It can really make a difference.

Not as fast as I wanted but a good experience. I ran 13.64 at 98.53 MPH. I think it's very hard to achieve the numbers posted by the manufactures of any vehicle. A 640HP vet and Cadillac with the same motor ran before me with mid 13 second and mid 14 second times respectively.
