made out better than most, some places got 5 inches of rain overnight and others 2-3 inches today as well in a few hours.

Just glad our sump pump does not fail for once it did some 20 years ago and was NOT pleasant to come home to 3 inches of standing water in a full ranch sized basement.

I heard 7 inches in Richland Center,  if the weather prognosticators can be trusted to report accurately. The only wet basement I ever came home to was from a water heater tank rupture.  And I prefer that to a chest freezer full of venison that stopped working while away for a few weeks.   Sad

I live on a hill, but up in Chippewa we're good, little high water but not bad at all.  Couple months back went for a ride up north east and learned if I would of went up to Hayward they were flooded the day before big time.
