I frequently ride and communicate with a long standing friend who resides in and travels extensively in the EU. He tells me the common sentiment there is sense of amazement and disappointment of the goings-on in the USofA. Unlike the old song, because "I saw it on tv" doesn't necessarily make it true. Many years ago, my father frequently told me to believe half of what I see and less of what I read. This was well before the profound effect of the Internet could be even imagined. I can only imagine what he would say today. Given the advent of today's internet driven social media, anyone with a hint lo literacy can find extensive documentation to support any preconceived notion in fifteen minutes. Despite such technical research skills, the ability to discern the validity and reliability of the source material is sorely lacking. For those too lazy or illiterate to do their own original research, it can be had in pre-packaged form from a seemingly unlimited number of forums, newsletters, and foundations, etc. of any imaginable political or religious persuasion. I acknowledge exceptions to the above as demonstrated by exchanges contained in this very thread. However, as a general proposition, I sincerely believe it to be substantially correct. About the only thing you cannot find in today's media is objective analysis of truthful facts. Perhaps it's best that the issues be debated in the manner being done in our forum where everyone is brought together by a strong commonality of interest. The only problem I see is that a strong consensus develops for one side of the issues and thereafter anyone brave enough to express a differing opinion is met with strong ridicule and condemnation and labeled an outcast. Pretty soon, rather than an objective debate of issues, it devolves to the choir singing to the choir with most differing opinions prudently remaining unstated. Amusing Example: (No particular point) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VnMn-ObT0r8Very well said....Hammer, meet nail.

But that article isn't about refugees behaving badly, so it doesn't count. But, yes, I did learn something today.

But that article isn't about refugees behaving badly, so it doesn't count. But, yes, I did learn something today. That's because there isn't much history of Burmese refugees in the USA running around murdering/attempting to murder groups of other people.

I have always welcomed immigrants. But, leave your crap where you came from. You are going to a another country to live then you should adopt their ways. If you don't want to, then go the F@#$ home. My biggest issue with most muslims is that they do not see Canada, USA, UK, etc. as their home. They consider home as where they came from. The older immigrants would refer to their previous country as the old country. That shows respect for their new home. That is what is lacking in the new immigrants from the middle east.
So, you spend NO MONEY on the refugees? Does not seem possible. If so, please explain how, as we would love to do it that way! Maybe your taxes did not go up. Good . I really am glad. But, money is NOT created out of thin air. It came from SOMEWHERE. If the gov't did not have to spend money on the refugees, then you would have had a tax CUT. So, yes, you did pay for the refugees out of your taxes.
Holy crap MP, governments have been doing this for years. It called the National Debt. Your Federal Reserve is an expert at this.

F-Six ...I don't need a link to say what I want to say
Maybe I am wrong...but...I am guessing that most of the folks here in North America want the Europeans to grab up all those Muslims for themselves....and we sincerely wish you luck with that. And for people here who would welcome them in unvetted like Europe did...pause and take a long look in the mirror...and if nothing changes, maybe buy yourself a one way ticket to Brussels...Bottom line...If the Saudi's don't want them, why should we...

When will the fools on the left realize that these people have no interest in integrating into Western Society...they consider us infidels...heathens...satan...etc. The argument is moot before a word is even spoken...a waste of breath....How many examples in Europe do we have to look at...how many YouTube Videos do we have to watch....How many... No disrespect to the Catholic Faith, but some time back the Pope chastised Trump for wanting to build a wall, saying that we should be building bridges...this coming from someone who lives in a walled in city!! To all those who think you want them here...please go to Home Depot and have keys cut to your place and have them move in. BTW...this is my last comment on this whole mess...I put 16,000 kms on the I/S this year so far and enjoyed every minute....soon enough the riding season will end here and I will probably have a lot of questions of the Valkyrie Riders here once my bike is up on the lift for the winter. I am looking forward to that. Thanks...

I think you missed Burma and Antarctica You solved the problem. Send them all to Antarctica. Warm coat, pack of matches, a spear and they're all set. Don't like Antarctica? Stay home and take your country back.

Britmans personal "Never ending thread" ? He is trying to make a point And doing quite well. How is taking all these middle eastern refugees with no vetting (or none worth spit) in our national interest? How? (Fok globalism) How was giving a couple billion in cash to the largest state sponsor of terrorism in our national interest? How? There's a bunch more. Keep up the good work Paul.

Britmans personal "Never ending thread" ? If the problems created were not "never ending", then this thread would be ended. But, they just keep going on, all over the world. And, our leaders are doing their best to bring as much of it as possible here.
