NOT a ride report BUT I went out in Her cave today removed the pods and pulled all 6 sparklers turned her over and thank GOD No liquid shot outa her. Put the sparklers back in hit the choke-she argued a mite and she fired up!  cooldude Ran her about 10-12 minutes long enough to get the B-12 Chemtool into the bowls and let that work overnight. Straightened up the folded back left road peg reinstalled the pods and talked to her awhile. Should have seen the bugs I evicted when I twisted the throttle!  2funny That'll larn em where NOT to homestead.  tickedoff Was 6 weeks yesterday that I went down and I KNOW I gotta wait another week or two BEFORE I can ride.  Lips Sealed Next week I'll check the pressure in the round rubber thingys.  Roll Eyes Other than the road peg twisting back against the clamp and the bent fog light bracket my Brother fabbed up-now straightened-there do NOT seem to be any other damage evident. Still iffy at best on the Mo. F C R.  Undecided  Felt cursed GOOD to work on her today.  cooldude RIDE SAFE.

My friend that rode her back about 24 miles is a "Rider" and he walked it up to 85 or so and when we got back to my place I asked Rick how she felt. He told me for a M/C he'd NEVER been on before that he enjoyed the short ride I had afforded him. Like the solid feel of her and the absence of vibration. His everyday ride is a H/D 1200 Sporster. My first ride will be a 12 mile loop that I will not be more than 6 miles from the house at any time. Has a high speed stretch on 4 lane where I WILL be paying a Lot of attention to how she "Feels". I KNOW I gotta git some tone in my muscles!  2funny Thanks everyone for All the Positive comments!  cooldude RIDE SAFE.

sitting 6-7 weeks not running is no big deal.  Here in WI I have to let it sit around near 4 months not running all winter long.

the first fire up though in early April the beast sputters and smokes some letting it sit that long for sure putting in full 91 octane NON ethanol gas and seafoam/stabilizer mixture before the long winters nap.  Some early April first start ups are better than other years though.  Wife dislikes it when I have filled up the garage with obnoxious exhaust fumes until the beast idles well without choke on after letting it run on full choke for 2-3 minutes or more for the first time.  After that long enriched first run,  good to go the rest of the riding season though with full choke only needed for 10-20 seconds tops if let sitting a few days.

If ridden daily and above 60 degrees, I can usually get by with NO choke needed at initial startup.

Hoping that winters nap will be another 1 month or more away.

Dennis, I'm glad that you're about to get back in the wind.   Take it easy at first.  you don't want to 'wring it out' but end up wringing you out instead. Smiley
