I've got 82 hours of time I've got to use before December 14. So I decided I would take an additional 2 days before we head to NYC tonight. I have observed a couple things with this extra time off.
1) My wife insists that we clean the house really good before we leave. This makes no sense to me. She says its because she likes coming home to a nice clean house. I suspect that it's really that she's worried her Mom will come over and judge the cleanliness.
2) I drove her Miata a few times in the last 2 days doing errands. I don't drive it much otherwise. But I have to say it is a really fun car to drive.
3) I still get up at the same time each morning regardless.
4) Sitting around for 2 days waiting for our trip is not fun. Next time I'm working until it's time to go.
