File of every receipt ever generated.

(Course that could burn down too) (not in the house)

Like you've said before, photos of every damn thing you own that is worth anything is not a bad idea.

While pics won't hurt, I agree with Jeff on the receipts. I bought a lot of the bling that was on my totaled out Interstate online and kept track of all receipts. I had a 5000 rider and easily went over that and got paid for every penny.

I have both. Previous owners kept all paperwork of all sorts. I even got all the hits removed when de smogged.
