Hey VRCC members, I want to let everyone know about John Whistler. He had a quadruple bypass surgery yesterday and is recovering at the Kansas Heart Hospital.  John is a great guy and he is the one that helped me last year when my Phat girl blew a u-joint in Wichita while on a big trip with my brother.  I put out a call for help through Mac McCain on the board, and a few hours later, I get a call from John. He brought parts over to the motel, and hung around all that next day with us.

Honda could not find parts, I told them, "no problem, the VRCC club has already got the parts and they would be here in the morning". Sure enough, John showed up and we took the parts to Honda. We did not have the facilities to attempt it ourselves, John drove to Wichita and on the next day, we were on our way again. Luckily, that Honda shop had an old Valkyrie mechanic working there.

Send up prayers for him and his family.  thanks everyone cooldude cooldude

Don't know the man but, I've never heard a bad thing said about him.   Ditto on the thoughts and prayers.
