We are having a great time.  Staying in Boone N.C. tonight.  We rode the "Snake " & had very tasty  mexican food. Happy as clams! Lol.    Now thinking about Maggie Valley for the next jaunt. Any suggestions for kool lodging?

I like The Holiday Motel... there's a breakfast place
right there, too. Maggie Valley is like going back in
time to 1960...

Holiday Motel ..  Young couple owns the place her name is Gabby she's cool he's somewhat of a Dick... Shed for bike and wash station... Go to Legends right up the road the wall is covered in tap beers and the food is great.

Holiday is on here,
as well as Jonathan Creek,
Microtel & Ramada have indoor pool,
& Smoky Falls is highly regarded on the 1800 board.

Lulu, the Rolling Brook Inn was a nice place when we went there last year, little 14 room mom & pop place nothing fancy but clean, affordable, right next to Wheels Through Time, and you would never know that your on the main strip, very relaxing place.

Had ice on the bike cover this morning, but we are in no rush to return to warm weather in Michigan  coolsmiley
Went to the steak house, excellent. We have been meeting a lot of hurricane refugees all the way up here in the mountains, hope everyone survived ok.
Will have to check out Legends tonight, plan on Phillips Motel Thursday. See y'all soon...
