Local dealer has a 2015 base goldwing with 7000 miles and is black. Has no drivers backrest. Can some on this board give their opinion of what a fair price would be? Tks Eddie

whatever you want to pay for it... Shocked

hard to say, sometimes dealers want MORE for a used one than just buying a new one.  tickedoff

New wings are 20K and over I think base (any rebates though?), so if you can get it for 15K being a standard model,  I think you done good IMO.  Hard to say what the dealer gave for it on trade in value is the key to finding out your purchase price.

Do you like the black color in a goldwing?  My guess is not one of the top 3 color choices but IMO, better than white or yellow and probably orange.

I see locally an old 2001 Wing with plenty of nice accessories with 42K on it very good shape, but is black as well only asking 6.9K.  Tempted to jump on that one since well over 1K in useful accessories like driver backrest,  passenger armrests,  6 disc CD changer, hwy pegs, chrome rear luggage rack, heated grips, and newer vented windshield, and blacked out full baker air wings, and some chrome add ons as well to break up all that black.  It looks sharp in pics have not seen it in person yet though if still for sale locally.

Contact your insurance company and find out what replacement value is if it was totaled .

I have used this method a few times.  If you pay ten and it is only worth eight , you lost two.

If I was gonna pay anywhere near 15k I'd hafta go all the way.
This one's already had the suspension work done....
(& the Wing needs it! Horribly undersprung from factory IMO.)

A coworker bought a '15 leftover last spring. Zero miles and paid $21,399 plus tax. I'd think $19K might be fair, but bargains are what we all want.

for 17K might as well buy new for 20K or so NO miles, only 3-4 grand difference is not a ton off being used.  I would pass on the deal unless it is EXACTLY what you want and has some extras you want already on it vs. just a plain jane base model.

I would much rather have a 2006-2012 or so  between 10-13K easily and tons out there with lower mileage.

I am looking at a 2001-2006 lower mileage (under 50K) wing for under 8K though is my price range since I do not put ever over 5K miles per year on a cycle.
