If so, those that have the 3-4 years or so they were made, if like them, should keep them for they will be even more valuable as the years go by.
I suspect they were not too good of sellers, but I did see a 2014 Valkyrie pretty much stock as most are for only 8.5K recently on craigslist, that is I think a very good price and it had I think under 10K miles on it.
I would have to drive one to see if I liked it, but just sitting on one in the showroom, I did not like the ergos of it vs. the f6b. I have some interest on the newer honda ctx700 have seen a few decked out with hardside matching bags and taller windshield and cobra seat used 2014 model with under 7K miles for only 3.8K asking price. Seeing as how they were new around 5K, 3.8K with the extras I would want on it is I think a good buy and heard they are, although not powerful or fast, good comfort and GREAT gas mileage between 60-70 avg mpg which is even better than most scooters 250cc on up, almost on par with most 50 or 150cc scooters for gas mileage.

You mean, like our classics have increased in value? I do not think our old Valks are depreciating as much as say the vtwin vtx1800 is though. Around here VTX1800s are about 2 grand less than our Valks when say 7 years ago or so when I was looking at both, my Valk I/S was the same 8K or so as the vtx1800s. |

If they redesign the Valkyrie to what the demand is, they will most likely sell more. The current Valk model just didn't come across as what was expected, a disappointment to many....myself included. No question that it's a good bike, that's not the issue. Make it into a basic cruiser similar to the 1st gen. Valks and promote it in earnest, then I'll bet you'll see some good sales. Just my opinion, nothing more.

I had read a couple months ago that there also would be no 2017 Goldwing as Honda was doing a total redesign of it. They are keeping a tight lid on what it will be. Some have speculated maybe a DCT transmission. Perhaps that would go into Valkyries and F6B in 2017 also.

Ok, so if they now make a proper retro Valkyrie I will be sitting here with my 1500 and 1800c while everyone runs to Honda. That would be my life.  Can't speak for anyone else but, that's precisely what I'd be doing. Well, the Honda dealer and my credit union. |

2017 Gold Wings are on the showroom floor. (Just some color changes) Many are whining and complaining on the Gold Wing boards about no "new" Wing yet. My 2015 anniversary model fits my needs perfectly and I don't give a rip about touchscreen this and bluetooth that. Many also seem to want an adjustable windshield that you can adjust on the fly. How many times a day to you need to adjust your windshield? I don't get it. I guess the fact that I owned my last Valkyrie over 11 years and carry a 1911 for my primary indicates I don't always have to own the latest and greatest.  |

When they develop a windscreen that will instantly raise keeping bugs from impacting my head and then drop back to my preferred riding position, I'll be interested.  Do they make a radar sensitive enough to do that yet?  |

[/quote] I had an adjustable windshield on my ST1300 and I miss it on my F6B. Going down the highway the shield would be up and then adjusted down when you slow down. I used it a lot. On hot days you could move a lot of air, if it starting raining the shield would go up. |

Frankly I was not a fan of riding the new Valk but appreciated the generosity of the member who loaned me one to ride at IZ out in Spearfish. Ive sat on the f6b but not ridden one, wife likes the Valk back seat on my Interstate so I would look for a wing when the time comes On my bmw 1150rtp I am always raising and lowering the windshield hot days it goes down as I stop and if I am in a half helmet it goes up at highway speed Im tall enough to get plenty of wind over the top of any screen  I can see a wing in my future someday, but need to figure out how to get 3 bikes in my garage first |

If it had highway pegs and a backrest it would have been nice. |
