Ride Safe, Be Kind

Earth

« on: October 15, 2016, 09:45:42 AM »

This is my motorcycle.  We watch out for each other through the years and the miles.  I keep her maintained, polished and ready.  I keep my skills sharp and my decisions sane.  She rewards me with eye-catching beauty, six pipes that are always playing my favorite song and thousands of miles of adventure.

There are a lot of people with a lot of opinions about a lot of things.  There is hate, rage, war, famine, disaster and heartbreak in the world but we will be all right as long as we stick together.

Whatever will be, will be but one thing is certain:  This is my motorcycle

Ride Safe,

When I first started riding an old dude told me that it's bad luck to clean your bike during a trip.  I don't know if that's true but I'm lazy, so I go with it.

Now, there is nothing wrong with a clean and polished motorcycle but, it's an indicator that someone's motorcycle needs to be ridden.   I rarely get mistaken for those folks.   Wink

It'll get better. Just think about being pain free and able to ride as much as you can handle.....

judging by that pic loaded down fully in back, you still have some wiggle room for a few other small items between the drivers backrest and strapped down cooler on rear passenger seat.  I really like that shade of blue.

My first Valk was a new 98 Std, blue and Crème, still have great memory of those days, and a true sense of what the Valkyrie is, was, all about.  Not riding now, but still have two registered and legal.   Don't know when I will ever be able again, but If I get the urge, I can scratch it. LOL Sure had some wonderful times back then, and who knows, maybe it will happen again.
