Wayne,

I'll admit I was surprised when I read your post. But I for one, completely understand. We can all get frustrated and hot under the collar from time to time. I've wanted to say that countless times. So far I've been able to step back and reconsider.

I for one enjoy reading your posts, even the ones I don't agree with. It's your decision to 'run silent', but I think we'd all be the less for it.

LOL!  It's understandable that the expression is unfamiliar to some.  Most men from Massachusetts are not properly equipped for the operation.   Wink

Cleverly worded!   cooldude  I've always appreciated your sense of the effective use of the double entendre.

Hopefully, we will allow this post to be what it was intended to be, an apology from Solo1.

Just to get it back to the subject, Wayne is one of the most respected men on this board and also one with tremendous class.  He is a veteran of the Korean War and served this country in her time of need.  I respect his opinion and accept his apology for the words he chose.

I would imagine there is a tremendous frustration building among those who served this country as to the direction it seems to be heading in.  You may not agree with their views, but you should not ignore these gentlemen of honor.

I think I read just about every post from Wayne. And I agree he is a class act. Personally I didn't think what he said was all that bad. But he is a man of integrity and made things right.  cooldude
