Would just like a quick prayer that my next visit to
the operating room goes well.
Seems that every time I go to see about a small pain
it turns out to be more than just that. It appears that I
have developed cancer of the prostrate and will be going in shortly to see
what can be done for the old guy.
Just need a prayer or two to get through.

God wants us to come to Him with our concerns and questions. He is our loving Father and what father would turn away his child when that child is worried or has a problem? Jesus died so we could speak with our Father the way Adam and Eve did in the garden. That was Gods plan to restore the right relationship God has with His creation or His children. Take Him up on His offer to speak with Him, I can tell you its one of the most delightful experiences you will have in life.

The woman with the issue of blood is an example of how much sometimes we need to pursue God when we want something. She would not have been healed if she had not braved societies norms, the crowd and the apostles all stopping her from touching the hem of His garment. But because of her persistence she got what she came for, her healing. The closer you are to Him the faster your answer can come.

An answer to prayer may not be the answer we are looking for but He will give us peace and strength to make it to where He wants us to go as we watch his decisions play out in our lives.

In our answer to prayer it bolsters our faith, we know where the blessing comes from, and it makes us go to the well more often. If we dont ask, how do we know He answers?

God gave you the right to come to Him for anything you need, take Him up on it.

I will pray for you.

Prayers are here for you from Mass.  It'll all work out.  Your own positive thoughts will help heal you as well.  The body and mind do amazing things.  Negative thinking will get you sick and positive thinking heals. Proven.  Hang in there and get well soon.

In 2004 My PSA was 19, and was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer.  I had radical Prostate surgery, and It was taken care of.   No prostate, no problem anymore in that area.  Get a good  Dr. for treatment and put it behind you.   I am 77 years now, and still looking forward.  Prayers being sent your way for best possible outcome.

Not selfish at all.  We all need a little help now and then. I had a fight with prostate cancer back in '08 and am doing well now. So my prayers go out to you ....you will beat this evil thing....God bless you and may he help you and give you peace of mind during this troubling time.

For the strength to go through the procedure, for a successful outcome, for quick and peaceful healing, and for an easy return to mutually loving people. And next season on the road. Lung cancer was taken care of by Him for me, can't hurt to ask Him for the same for a friend.
