Living in reasonably good health at 88 years of age.
Surviving a great stress in my life, the death of my wife of 46 years.
Having wonderful memories of Phyllis
Having wonderful memories of all of my life.
The raising of four wonderful kids.
The feeling of accomplishment in knowing that, along with my wife, we provided the monetary, advice, and discipline to raise children in the right way.
Knowing that all of my kids get along and are productive workers.
The happiness in knowing that I still count for something in their eyes.
The joys and memories of my riding days
The satisfaction in knowing that I have made friends in the riding world.
The calm reassurance in knowing that I've contributed my share to society as a worker, a veteran, a former councilman, a former association head, many positions in civic and government , and in my church.
The satisfaction in learning that money and power isn't everything (although it helps somewhat, so I've heard

)
And, last of all, the never ending striving to maintain a positive attitude in today's times.
Thanks to God, and to all of my friends.
