Wuz gonna do er yesterday but feelin kinda puny so didn't go fer the ride but I did check her out. Got about a 14 mile loop here that has good highway speeds and slow traffic in town so did that first to warm her up. Came back and checked her over again put water and cold drinks in the saddle bags and headed West outa here on U S 60. As I'm coming up on the last Cabool git on what duz I see but 5 Valkyries one of em bein a purple Rune with an aluminum box trailer in tow. Led them fer a bit and then mine started running crappy around the first Mountain Grove exit. Pulled over and these folks ere coming back from the Mo. F C R at Potosi and the timing could NOT have been any better. All of them pulled over with me and informed me that I had Missed an Excellent ride! I hope I have this right but they told me they had 35 M/Cs show up for this ride!  cooldude I made the last 3 Mo. F C Rs but this one was NOT in the cards. Fresh gasoline and treatment got my Phatt Ghurl hittin on all 6 again and after a coffee and a chocolate chip cookie ad Mickey Ds and some fresh gas I pushed back east to my Lacasa. Time I rolled her back in Her Cave we had wadded up 128 miles today. NOT a record breaker by any means BUT for the first ride in 2 days shy of 9 weeks I'll tae it!  Smiley I missed the wind and she missed me and we parted on good terms and she DID invite me back!  Grin Probably again 2moro.  Cool  RIDE SAFE.

According to my thermometer never got past 71 degrees F. Just a wonderful fall day fer a ride. Leaves are turnin here and the aromas on the wind are FANTASTIC! My brother coached me on some breathing exercises and it paid off today.  cooldude Gonna hit some technical roads 2moro-well leastways that's the plan NOW!  coolsmiley RIDE SAFE.

Set out today when the thermometer was indicating 54oF.  Time to close the Baker Air Wings, put on leather chaps and turn on the heated grips.   I put on 150 miles with high winds out of the Northwest.  Happy to pull back into the garage, but would not have missed the opportunity for the ride.  All to soon, Lady Val will be put up for the winter...

Glad you were able to scratch that itch, and meet some other Valks, to boot, just awesome. More wind soon, I pray!

Dennis, glad that you got in a nice, no, I mean Great ride, after this hiatus.  Fall is great what with all the smells and crisp weather.

I took a drive yesterday but not in the Miata. It's waiting for the winter in the garage.
