This is my latest. Followed me home yesterday. I need this like a hole in my head. Love it or hate it. I can't help it. I love it, can't deny. This is the patina everybody's looking for these days it seems. Some of my buddies don't get it, some just goin nuts. '58 American.

Drop a ZO6 engine with a 6 speed in that and paint it dark gray add A/C to top off the cool.

LOL. You might be a redneck if you take the tires off your camper and put them on your Rambler to get it off your trailer! The front Cragar S/S were actually on the front but rotten tires wouldn't hold air. Hard to find 14'' tires anymore and my camper tires were 8yrs old. I ordered new camper tires and it's sitting on jack stands. W-D 40 and 0000 steel wooled the old Cragars, good from 15'.
Still got the ol' flatty, 6 in a row. Not stuck, but the tail pipe has green mold inside, so it's been a while since it ran. Gas tank is stored in trunk. Looking for some 14'' chrome reverse for the rear to put the other two camper tires on til I get things sorted out.

Dad ha a 62 Rambler American 2 door flat head 6 3 on the tree with overdrive. Fresh off the showroom floor. He traded in a 54 Ford 2 door which I bought for $100.00 cash money. That 54 Ford helped me to learn bout turnin wrenches. RIDE SAFE.

My first car was a 1964 Rambler American with a flathead 6.

Dang thing used more oil than gas and had trouble getting out of its own way.

But the fully reclining front bench seat had its advantages.  Evil

That really is a great find, Its great when you find something you can work with that you see the possibilities.

 Some start with a blank canvas and paint others start with a car,or body and it goes from there. I would have to argue who has the most talent the one that works with one medium or the one that works with many.

Some folks have all the luck!!!   Lots of potential there.   Everyone has their own ideas but, I think I'd lower it some and bring it back to stock "looking".     Mechanicals being the artist's choice but, a V8 would definitely sound good as you take that ride cruising...........   Nice find.

I am new to Mesa AZ only having been here a year so far, but the cool old cars I have seen...I am pondering finding an old Ford as a new home to my pushrod 347, T5-Z trans and 8.8 3.73 out of my Fox Mustang. I have seen several very cool old Falcons and a 1960 Ford Ranchero. They have had all the right amount of patina. A finish I would do noting to.

Been studying on the potential power plant. Very little room the heater box is dead center over the tranny tunnel. Has unusual suspension, no frame, and space between inner fenders very narrow. I have a stash of power plants from nail head 401 Buick, 454 Chev. (.60 over), '69 455 Olds, very built 327 Chev. , couple 350's all ready to run. I can't help but hear this flat six run. So many projects, so little time. This thing actually has a 3 sp. automatic! Same tranny as Ford used up through the 60's.
I can't get over the body panels, not a flat piece of metal or crease anywhere. Not original paint, but original color (Autumn yellow)
