Didn't mean it to come across as bitching. Just figured there was no chance in hell those 2 would even be asked, much less accept.
As has been pointed out many times, I've gotten EVERYTHING wrong about this guy. But I will give it some thought and come up with some picks.  Smiley

I would think Newt for Sec'y. of State, the man has a knowledge of history and events seemingly unparalleled. And, how those events impacted the world or the nations involved.

As for Att'y. Gen., I would think either Giuliani or Trey Gowdy, hands down. Rudy has served in many areas and has argued before the Supreme Court a number of times. I don't know if Christie has the same creds but doubt it. I believe he was a prosecutor at one time.

U.N. Amb., probably Huckabee, he also has a good background in politics and a knowledge thereof.

Commerce and Defense, difficult to say. Sec'y. of Defense might fall in line with Powell's experience but I question whether he would take it, especially at his age. I'm thinking possibly one of the retired Generals, maybe a former Head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The big difference this time would be hopefully the President will listen, regardless of who it might be.

I rather doubt Kasich would even be interested in working for Trump, in the Commerce Dept. or anywhere else, but have no idea who might be offered the spot. I certainly don't think Trump would ask Jeb. Maybe he would ask Jeb to head up the Dept. of Ed. then force him to eat his words by doing away with Common Core.  2funny

I won't dare to venture a guess on specific names, but...

I think he'll throw at least one or two bones to Democrats as a peace offering.
A few to establishment Republicans to try to build a bridge there.
A few will appeal to those "Red Meat" Tea Party types.

And there will be at least one total head scratcher from way out in left field that everyone will either go "Who?" or "Why??"

Gowdy could well become head of FBI or Justice had entirely forgotten about him

good catch on that one

Can you list some Democrats that might make good cabinet members?

Saw Guilliani on O'Reilly and he's probably gonna be Attorney General.

He said Newt may not want the SOS gig as it requires too much traveling, etc, but said maybe homeland security for Newt.

Carson would be great as the top Doc, Surgeon General.

They tossed around Kellyann Conway for Chief of Staff.

Don't rightly know. I would think it could hinge on who Trump selects for Att. Gen.
I would see Comey resigning before Trump would relieve him. It could well be that Comey's actions were limited by the DOJ thus his inability to pursue the various cases to the depths they required to secure an indictment. If that is the case, then he would continue to serve as the director with a DOJ that would back him up.

I know this will never happen, but then again 48 hours ago the words "President Trump" were only used as the punchline to a joke so hey, I can dream...

As far as a Democrat he might pick to be on his cabinet, I really don't know of one, nothing specific in mind, but even as bombastic as Trump can be, he's shrewd in business too, and rubbing a defeated opponent's nose in it doesn't help anything, giving them a harmless bone to chew on can pay back later.

Oh pretty pretty please, make it so! Love Milo!

Maybe he can offer Hillary an ambassadorship to Libya. That might help ease the tension.

A 10-year term limit for the Federal Bureau of Investigations chief executive has been in place since 1973.

Comey was appointed FBI Director by Zero in September 2013.

Yes, I think so.  If I was Trump, I'd have him to lunch and ask him to describe all his conversations and dealings with Lynch, Holder, and top folks at DOJ before I did anything.
