My daughter got a call from my grandson's teacher yesterday  afternoon. The teacher told her that she could not talk about it right now, but asked that my daughter contact her when she picks up my grandson JJ from school. Obviously my daughter was anxious and asked if everything was OK, and the teacher said no problem, I just have a story to tell you.

Now JJ is an extremely intelligent 1st grader, and has been known to act like the class clown at times, his teacher is always relaying various antics. He is sort of then Alex J Keaton type, on occasion he will wear a sport coat and a vest to school just so he looks professional "like a business man" according to him.

My daughter shows up and contacts the teacher. The teacher told her that this morning she was trying to teach the kids about the results of the presidential election. She went on to tell them that it was a historic election, one reason being that the president elect has never held a political office before.

The teacher then told the class that even if Mr Trump did not get elected it would still make history because it would be the first time the other type of candidate would have been elected. She then asked the kids if anyone knew why that would be. Well it seems that JJ knew the answer and was the only one that raised his hand so she called on him to give his answer.

JJ's answer was...  A CRIMINAL.

The teacher who happens to be a conservative herself told my daughter that she had to pick up a book to hide her laughter from the class before advising JJ that it was because she was a woman, not because she was a criminal.

Maybe there is hope for the next generation.

thats funny. Last week my Grandmother passed away. I use to take our 2 boys, 6 and 3 to go see her. I told our 6 year old last monday about it and he said " awwww Gavanelle died? Guess we don't need her anymore" My grandma would have laughed really hard about this. Like serk said, Out of the mouth of babes. Sounds like your little guy has a bright future. Love that he wears a sports jacket and vest, that is also funny.
