Maybe they should just stand outside the Chappaqua window of Hillary and serenade and comfort her on that day.  Silly me, she and hubby will be at the inauguration.  I guess O has not pardoned her yet and she needs to score some points.

Miami would be a good place for a concert for a bunch of people I would never go to see if they played on my back lawn.  I hear Miami is fairly warm this time of year.

When you have to rely on a certain entity for your livelihood, it is very difficult to go against it.  There is "Blacklisting" going on right now in La La Land.  Even the rich have been pushed further apart during the last 8 years and those that lean right have been labelled the same ugly names as the rest of us.  Unfortunately, their opponents have pretty big platforms and stages (like award shows) by which they can denounce conservatives among them.

And so much of all this hatred and division is based on lies and fabrication of stories.  Now there's a fake story of Trump and his people making deals with Russia in Prague.  There are no sources quoted in the original story, no basis of truth cited, yet the story is all over the liberal media, and since a fake story is all over the liberal meeting, FOX is reporting the fake news angle of the story and Trump is tweeting in defense.

I think we should go after those who start, perpetuate, and who distribute fake "news" and lies.  Every time Chris Cuomo on CNN says "Trump called Mexicans........", he and CNN should be fined.  When Rachel Maddow perpetuates the lie that Trump is going to deport Muslims, she and NBC should be fined.  I even believe that all those involved in perpetuating stuff like Hands up Don't shoot, from news anchors to athletes and their teams to entertainers.  If you start and/or perpetuate lies you should be punished.

Many years ago while in High School I took a jouralism class.

The one thing that I clearly remember from the class was the teacher's insistence that a jouralist was NEVER to "Slant" the news.

A reporter was simply to report the news, following the When, What and Where model.

Nowdays it seems that every reporter slants the news to fit their own agenda.

Neil Cavuto, I think last week, had an interview with actor/Sinatra singer,  Robert Davi on the same subject as your first paragraph.  Robert noted there are many conservatives in Hollywood, but are scared crazy of being blacklisted.  He in effect called it the Hollywood McCarthyism.

Can you blame them? (the conservatives)  When you see how "rational and tolerant" the loonies are of opposing opinions, they should be scared.  Imagine, if Meryl Streep were a conservative (I know it's a stretch), if she were blacklisted, how would she earn a living?  You can't live off residuals for ever.  Of course, if she were a conservative, she would have the talent and intelligence to move on to some profession other than acting.

What do you think they may find at the bottom of C1?  That metal detector was going off pretty good.
And with the advanced sonar showing good possibility of a perpendicular tunnel coming into it may be promising.  I can not imagine being a diver and going down there, but John Chatterton is as good as they come.

Video, from the horse's...mouth, so to speak....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6QEqoYgQxw

As far as deprting Muslims....this is the guy she's quoted. If you have something else, I'd like to see it....

http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/analysis-breitbart-s-steve-bannon-leads-alt-right-white-house-n683316]http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/analysis-breitbart-s-steve-bannon-leads-alt-right-white-house-n683316

This is part of an excerpt from that heathen network MSNBC. I couldn't find anything where Maddow is saying that. I have found however, where she is quoting Breitbart as the source, of deporting Muslims. And we all know about the editor of Breitbart, don't we. Trump's right hand man, Steve Bannon...

"Although the Muslim ban continues to apparently cost Donald Trump
Republican votes, and I think it ultimately will be a liability, not just
for him, but for all of the Republicans who support him, there are, still,
some parts of the American conservative movement, some parts of the
American political right, where the only problem with Donald Trump`s Muslim
ban is that it doesn`t go far enough. That it doesn`t round up all the
Muslims who are already here. And send them out of the country, because
they`re Muslims.

Quoting, “Enough of the hatred, intolerance, violent rhetoric. It`s time
to, #DeportAllMuslims from Western nations.”

So, this argument here, this is not about banning Muslims from entering the
United States, it`s about rounding up Muslims who are already here in the
United States. And deporting them based on their religion. And not just
here in the United States, but from all Western nations, we should do this.

When the terrorist attack happened in Nice, France, the one with the truck
on July 14th, one of the hashtags that emerged online internationally after
that attack was, #prayforNice. You probably remember that. It was nice.
It was meant to be a sign of support.

But here, going back that same author, it was used to say, #prayfornice.
“Pray for Nice that they have the will and the courage to deport all
Muslims.” Those tweets are from an editor who works at Breitbart.com.

And so, if you`re wondering about the editorial environment that was
created and nurtured and supported by the chief of Breitbart.com, who
Donald Trump just appointed to run his presidential campaign, this is some
of what it`s like. More from the same Breitbart editor, “Funny how
Europeans assimilated, unlike third worlders, demanding welfare, while
raping and killing Americans.” This one, “Immigration is rape culture.
Immigration is terrorism, forever, until you`re conquered. Close to
borders and expel the invaders.”

So, again, this isn`t ban all Muslims, like Donald Trump is saying. This
is, don`t just ban all Muslims, find Muslims in the United States, round
them up, and deport them on the basis of their religion, and it`s not just
build a wall on the southern border and deport millions of people in this
country based on their immigration status, it`s stop all immigration to the
United States. Close the borders. And, it`s not even like you`re good to
stay if you were here before there were ever borders in the first place."

But Robert why does it matter to you or me who is performing at which concert?

Don't we all already know which celeb is one which side?

There are many more important national and world events going on that we need to not be distracted by fluff.

We all need to pay more attention to what is happening globally.

The lefts disrespect is just astounding the nasty games and such, it really is just unbelievable to talk about acceptance and love and then do the opposite. All their initial talk about this was just a lie. If it had been one thing and gone away then OK, but everyday its something new.

They are actually the ones that influenced world events up till this point in a fashion contrary to the good of the US. They are the ones that allowed ACA, Obama running businesses out of the US, Rejection of Israel, The raw deal of the Iranians, bringing in foreign workers to take over US workers positions just to name a few then on top of all that crap they have to act like petulant children and not give honor to the president.

I think it is a small microcosm of what is actually reflected in world events.

One last thought it would be ok to pose radical ideas that worked, but most of these ideas FAILED. So when these ideas fail ,we, all of the US citizens are the ones that pay, and frankly I'm a bit tired of it.

I watch a lot of Fox news, too much probably and I never heard any reporter say he was born in Kenya or that he was a
Muslim.  Did they allow people a voice who held those views? Yes and they always have a guest with the dissenting view and a discussion ensues. You guys are so good with your news links, show me one time Fox news said either.

Back to the original headline and statements, Trump announced today at his Press Conference that several of the military bands would be playing.  I would think this is a most appropriate and welcome venue for these great bands to show what they have.   There was a post a couple weeks back, fabulous by the way, of a military band incorporating swing music. I hope they are on the list.

OK by me, but you'll never find one of the regular anchors or contributors at FOX saying Obama was born in Kenya or that he was a Muslim.  They did report on the stories, but didn't originate such stories and I can't recall them giving an opinion on such stories.  There may have been guests who brought it up, but not the organization itself.  But, if Hannity did actually say "President Obama was born in Kenya." and had no proof to back it up.........Fine him and FOX.

Trump's Mexican comments: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/trump-outrageous-comments-mexicans-article-1.2773214

Trump's deporting Muslim comments: http://www.telesurtv.net/english/news/Trump-Will-Look-into-Ways-to-Get-Rid-of-All-Muslims-in-the-US-20150918-0013.html

There are plenty of instances for both comments.....

OK, I read that nonsense.

Again, Trump did not say "Mexicans are......"  He said "Mexico is sending........."  He said killers, including mexicans are coming across, not that All Mexicans are killers.  As for the last one with the reporter from the hispanic TV station, His treatment by Trump was in direct response to false reporting by that reporter.

As for the Muslim thing, did you even read what you linked to.  There is not one direct quote of trump saying he will deport Muslim Americans.  Not one.  Just fake "translations" of someone else thinks Trump said.  Garbage.

This is where the insane "fear" comes from.  This perpetuation of garbage.

For the first time last night I actually thought Obama gave a good heartfelt speech. Wish he had done that before.

What speech? I was too busy watching Oak Island.

I tried watching it.

Made it through about 5 minutes before all of the rhetoric that he was spewing made me so mad that I had to change the channel before I threw something at our new 4K TV.

It's a shame too, the one thing that I thought I would enjoy watching was him saying goodbye.

I think most every one here has respect for the Office, almost zero have any respect for the current POTUS.  And it one of the reasons for that is because the current POTUS has demonstrated thet hey himself has little to no respect for the office, the Constitution, and the American people.

Criminals, near-do-wells, freeloaders and those that want to kill us he respects,  LEOs, veterans, and the common man, not so much.

Don't remember any fox people claiming that. They reported on others that did. But so did all networks.

I just ask you to show me an example with proof that Fox ever did what you speak of.
I donot think they ever did, I think all they did was talk about what was being said.
     Proof please.

Baldo the difference is I gave Obama a chance for a few years in spite of my many misgivings

Time proved me right -- it happens   more often now that I am older than when I was a youngun

But those entitled elitists will never give the same courtesy  The gals at dinner last night are snobs, people who always have something negative to say about this or that, people with too much money and not enough humility   Its always easier to bash than to build isn't it

Will you be at the anti Trump rally or will you watch or read about the inauguration later this month

I havent been invited to either affair but I can truthfully say I look forward to the miracle that is the peaceful transition of power every 4 or 8 years  Lets hope that with the new team
things get better for us all

What do you think they may find at the bottom of C1?  That metal detector was going off pretty good.
And with the advanced sonar showing good possibility of a perpendicular tunnel coming into it may be promising.  I can not imagine being a diver and going down there, but John Chatterton is as good as they come.
