I'm pretty sure I saw some racist on tv today. And they were both black. Cory Booker and Elijah Cummings both gave impassioned speeches why Sessions should not be the next Attorney General with no factual basis for their position at all. Alternatively, there were 2 other black speakers there who were just as passionate about their approval of his selection and hopeful appointment. The difference between the two sets of speakers was that the latter two had known Sessions for over 20 years and had worked with and for him in Alabama. They know the man and neither of the first two have any sort of personal relationship with Sessions even though Booker and Sessions co-authored a bill just last year.
I'm also pretty sure I just saw Harry Reid's replacement in Cory Booker, his statements in the hearing show he is willing to say what ever is necessary to further his agenda, regardless of the truth. Just as troubling is he could be our next Obama.

racist is jut a word anymore. Kind of like crap, piss, f*ck, hell, cursed and many others. I remember when we chose our word to make a point or to express something beyond just standard emotions. Now that everybody on both sides of the realm is a racist, it is just a word and it doesn't mean crap.

I don't know if there are answers sometimes. Just as some kids are kind, sweet, and full of goodness. I think some are just plain evil. I haven't researched this kids upbringing though. Seems like I remember one of the news reports saying that he still faced state charges. I too think that life in prison would be a more fitting punishment for him. He'd be sure to become some big black guys bitch. |

For 8 years now, those on the political right have been labelled with really terrible words of hatred. Yet, every time I turn around, it's usually someone on the political left who is insinuating or bringing up racism, then projecting it onto those on the right. This one floored me. So ugly.
