With any luck,  i will be living in Spokane by June.  I cant make Inzane but was hoping to attend my first rally in Post Falls.  Does anyone know any info of rides or events.  I dont plan on staying at the hotel because i live so close but might bring a tent and bedroll just in case.

The Valhalla Rally is a pretty informal get together that we in Western Canada and NW US have been holding for the past 7-8 years. It has been held in the Kootenays in SE BC for several years, Soap Lake in central WA one year, last year on the coast in Port Angeles WA, and a few years in Post Falls ID. Usually anywhere around 25 - 40 bikes plus passengers mostly from WA, OR, BC, AB, it consists of a short Friday afternoon ride after the bulk of attendees arrive and get together at the hotel, then a choice of longer day rides on the Saturday, usually hosted by some of the "local" members. Capped of Saturday evening with our traditional bonfire/bs-storytelling-tire kicking party & gift exchange ($10-$20 limit). A great group of folks on Valkyries and some assorted other bikes, and a real good time. It was decided that Post Falls would be the location again this year due to the fact it was right along the way for those of us that will be continuing on to Inzane in Billings the following Sunday.
Look forward to seeing you there cooldude

Hopefully you can meet up at the Valhalla Rally, and you should meet the local Spokane Boys & Girls there too.

I think the Locals use Facebook more.

There is both a PNW and a BC Chapter forum, you can keep your eyes their and start a few posts yourself. Alberta also isn't too far away, and with the exchange the way it is right now, would be very appealing to you if you can get across the Border.
