It's a Legazone 1085, 12mp ,paid 46.95 from Amazon (plus 32 GB card)

Late to the game and cheaper than a Go Pro. I'll be using it in the Miata.  It came with all the bells and whistles including a helmet mount. Water resistant housing, etc.

It might be Chinese crap but it has good reviews and I'm not out much if it goes feet up.

Won't you look silly wearing a helmet with a cam on top in your Miata??

I briefly gave that a thought but decided to mount the camera on the windshield with a suction cup!    Grin

Make sure you ,make a tether, just in case the suction comes loose. I don't have confidence in those suction devices.  See if it has time laps in the camera (They may also call it stop action) With that you can make it look like your hauling ass.

let us know how it works in terms of video quality at speeds, would like to know.

I cannot justify spending 200+ dollars on a go pro which I would not use often enough to justify that expense.

Amazon for certain things has some terrific deals and since my wife and kids order tons on amazon.com having a PRIME account,  this may be a thing to consider for ME for once.

I use a lanyard for my GPS every time ($1 Store). Half way through a day ride, it came off, riding along the Hwy. It saved it! Pulled over, remounted, and continued.

It came with a lanyard but I see no need for it mounted in the Miata.  Worst case, it would drop to the floor and it sure as heck better take an easy fall like that!

Sample test shows good video,  I'll post here when I start. Of course, all bets are off about reliability, not sure where it was made.
