I have seen them advertised.  Know nothing about them.

It looks to be a super deep carry system.

I know one thing for sure, I'd need fatter jeans/waist.  All my pants have gotten tighter at the waist lately, and with a belt, I'm not sure I'd have enough strength to pull that bastard out.

Interesting idea... but it does pose a problem during a "stick-up".

- Criminal points gun/knife at you and demands your wallet.
- You remove wallet with non-dominant hand and toss it to criminal.
- Basic, human reaction of criminal is to watch wallet fly towards him in order to catch it.
- While criminal looks at wallet, you draw with dominant hand and *pop, pop*.

With this holster, this type of "slight of hand" is impossible since you need both hands to pull your sidearm.

On the other hand... how often does a scenario play out when you must draw single handed????

As I said, it's interesting.  But, I'd like to see some pros/cons with statistics on both before I re-train myself on a different type of holster.

It obviously not necessary for the small pocket pistols.

Saying it doesn't have the pinches or pokes of ordinary IWB does not seen entirely truthful.  That thing is  so far down your pants it's not going to be easy to bend over very far.  And I don't know about driving or riding either.

I've seen them advertised, no experience.  The current ones have a magnet to keep the pistol in the holster when you "draw" it up.  The first version might toss the pistol at your assailant as you pulled up the holster.  That was a problem.  I would have to wear very baggy pants to keep my G43 from printing.

I would never want a set up that required two hands to draw...

Looks like a pretty good system to me. Am sure we can find issues with any of the CC systems out there. As has been mentioned, I would have to find jeans with a bit more slack in them, lol

Is that a Glock in your pants, or are you just happy to see me?

Hey, I can't help how I was born!

On the holster though, my "Works great on video, but is a gimmick that doesn't work in reality" detector is going off, but that's just my inherent pessimism about such things lately, it could be awesome.

I'm pretty sold on my Alien Gear IWB tuckable holsters, wear one all day every day and hardly know it's there anymore.

In theory it's a good idea but in order for it to sit properly it must be pushed a little too far down the front of your pants. I don't need the barrel rubbing against something else in front. Second as said earlier it might pose a problem sitting as it appears it would sit right in the middle of your hip. I will continue to order a dick Durban leather holster. They are custom made to your specs. Sit lower or canted.

I'm with Serk on both counts.

My Alien Gear is so comfortable it feels weird without it anymore!  cooldude
