To be good, and to do good, is all we have to do.

It's amazing what a little warm weather will do to you. It got into the 70's here today in southern Colorado. The next thing I knew the back wheel was off the bike and grease was a flyin.

I have been meaning to service the ol gals rear end since last November, but the cold had kept me out of the garage.

It is suppose to be nice again tomorrow. A ride is in order to confirm my workmanship is up to par.  Cheesy

supposed to be in the 60's the next few days here, but the roads are still white with salt  tickedoff I'd love to go for a ride, but I don't like the idea of salt getting on my rims and undercarriage   Sad

Heck.  Trailer it down here to SW Ohio.  No salt here, except for maybe some secondary roads that do not get traveled much, but they usually only get grit anyway.  A rain storm last week blasted the salt away pretty good.  Looking forward to getting out tomorrow and Sunday.  For this time of year a whole week of 60 or better is amazing.

Hopefully you enjoy the warm weather and get some rides in.

We finally got rid of our snow, mostly.  Roads were clear, temps were heading to the low 40's, riding weather.  Then the rains started, don't ride in the rain.   Now woke up this morning to more white falling.  If weather folks are correct, it should be gone by noon, yeah more rain.

So you folks to the east, moisture is heading your way.  enjoy the warmth.

near 65 today UNREAL, got out first time EVER in February in WI for a 102 mile ride.  Record highs will be set for sure the next 2-3 days.

I would go tomorrow as well but have over 300 miles to travel and need to take the vehicle having 4-5 people with us.

Had a great first ride,(and first time in February) yesterday,115 miles and it was all good. 7 bikes on this ride and if the weather keeps up like this it will be a great riding season. Rode up to Whiskey Ranch bar n grill and it was PACKED, no place to sit except in the smoking area, but that is enclosed so all was good. Lots of bikes out yesterday, everyone glad to get out for a nice day. Felt really good to be back on the bike, out in the open fresh air,and cruising. Looking forward to more AND MORE riding this season.  hope others had a good day also- LATER-

drove over 3 hours north today and was surprised still was low 60s for temps even up in middle to upper WI vs. southern WI only 2-3 degrees cooler is all up there.  More surprised by the lack of motorcycles on the interstate was expecting to see more than just 2-3 up there and 3 on the way back total is all.

150 miles today, on the other bike.  Yumpin Yimmini I had a good time.

New resolution:  When you haven't been able to ride much for months, sorta housebound and bored in the drab chilly winter, just because you get a few days of really nice weather is no excuse for riding out and approaching the sound barrier all day.

Course, who needs an excuse?   Evil

YEP,  heard Friday night into Saturday morning 8-12 inch snowfall band up near your area with LaCrosse WI getting hit one of the worst 12-13 inches total - YIKES

For us tad bit down south more only 2-4 inches - I can deal with that...

GREAT for snowmobilers who have had much of zippo all winter long of any real measurable snow except for 1-2 weeks tops, if that.

Well I don't know where the heck this Earnest place is, but winter never left in Gunnison.   tickedoff

Just snapped this with my tablet.  Looks like snow but it's nearly three feet of compressed ice, hard as a rock.
My bikes are held captive inside the garage.  I may need to purchase a flame thrower to melt those glaciers this spring!  And more snow coming tonight and tomorrow...

We went from clear roads and yards of the dreaded white, to 5-6" of white on the yards and roads.   Temps dropped about 10 degrees.   The high country got several feet of new white from the last series of storms.  Which, by the way, are headed east.   enjoy.

But just think, it will only be 3 more weeks till spring comes, according to the ground hog.  Yeah Right.
