Hopefully with the new Admin he will not have to go to jail for just hanging a couple of US flags. Its ok to burn them just dont hang them at the V.A.

Robert Rosebrock, 74, hung two flags on a fence at a Los Angeles VA facility
Was protesting VA treatment of homeless veterans and has done so since 2008
Faces criminal charge filed under Obama admin and up to 6 months in jail
1973 VA order states that individuals may only place materials on VA property with permission
Caseworkers are hoping the Trump administration will drop the charges

Not too long ago a vet in the Grand Rapids area had a flag on his front door in a rental  gated community.  The leader of the Assn told him to take it down, it was improperly displayed and against the rules.

He told em to stick it,  they wouldn't let him put up a flag pole. They tried to evict him. He took them to court. Judge told the owner or manager that they were to supply each unit with a lighted flag pole. They had 30 days to do so. They were also ordered to pay the vets court cost to include attorney fees.

Yup-would have been better off burnin it or putting up a flag from any foreign country.  uglystupid2 Supposedly the law prohibiting this action was passed in 1973 so not really zeros fault. BUT WHY was that particular law passed in the first place? I will admit though that this p c bull kaka has gotten way more wussified and completely outa hand.  tickedoff We weren't sposed to "demonstrate" or voice an opinion while serving. Our standing question when I was in went-so when/if we do this whata they gonna do-take away our birthday and send us to Nam?  :roll:I hope and PRAY this stupidity against this vet gits dropped before the scheduled trial.  cooldude RIDE SAFE.

I am just going by memory so I may get some facts wrong.

Several years ago a mainly hispanic school in California hung an American flag upside down. They said it was in their rights to do as they pleased. It was not against the law. They then hung the American flag below the Mexican flag.
Flag education was taught to us in grade and high school.
No flag will be flown above ours. A flag flown upside down is a signal of distress.

You are right Prez,..I too remember that, really ticked me off too, to come here and put up the mexican flag and 'old glory' upside down and beneath their flag.  Many of them want to come here and become American's,..but a large number DO NOT want to become American's , they want to bring mexico here .  This really chaps me !  Come here and become one of us that is what this country is all about.  A country of immigrants NOT a country of illegals , there IS a difference !
