and I really was proud listening to the address to congress this evening
Not going to say anything negative, it was a call, for me anyway, to build not divide, to support and not demonize and to learn and not blindly fear
My prayer is that we can move forward together and bring prosperity and security back into the lives of our people.

I totally agree Oss It was the best address of any president that I have heard. It did my heart good to hear and be straight forward with the message and directions that he is heading. What was noticeable was the one side of the room that seemed somehow to have an air of destruction and defiance in their actions, traitors one and all. Including Cummings that has been traced to the tax targeting scandals under the previous admin.

When I was young, the way we were taught to respect the Prez. whether they were your choice or not. Elections were over, and it was a time to get busy and make things stable again. Today it seems people and especially the media has no respect for the Prez. and just act and cry like children because they didn't get things their way. If you want to get rid of the rotten apples out of the bushel, start with the media, they hide behind the First Amendment. They don't inform the public anymore, they influence and they motivate the public in negative manor. In my opinion, they have over step their bounds and have hurt and caused damage to this country, just to feed their personal Ego's. It is hard to control things and be strategic to protect this country when you have someone shooting off their mouth about what you are doing. Just mt opinion!

Did anyone get the explanation for why the democrat women, the ones that didn't bother going to the inauguration, were wearing white? I missed it, or they never said it on the channel I was watching.

Many of the 66 Democratic women representatives and delegates who make up the House Democratic Women's Working Group wore white clothing, dubbed "suffragette white" in a nod to the women's rights movement in the early 1900s, which encouraged its supporters to dress in white as a representation of purity.  I dont usually associate purity with fighting for the right for the killing of babies and selling of body parts among other things. I could agree with the right to vote and equal pay as it was in the real movement not what these are fighting for. |

Altho I found it repulsive I am glad to know the world saw those women demeaning themselves with their thumbs down antics
anyone recognize them or where they are from what congresssional district?
The white to honor suffragette was odd but did not bother me at all
The ovations for the widow of the soldier moved me to tears

What bothered me was that some of them would not even stand to honor the slain navy seal! They made a total ass of themselves in my opinion. Shows me that they only care about themselves and their agenda.

My 35yr son does not get emotional over much. He was brought to tears by Carryn Owens during the tribute to her BRAVE husband, Sr. Chief William Owens. Watching the Dems every time the camera pulled back seems all they were about was being p----- o--. Get over it, he is there for 4 yrs, possibly 8. What would have brought me to full blown sobbing last night would have been Hill standing there giving the speech.

The speech drew overwhelming praise from most quarters, except for about 20 percent ( you know who they are ) A CNN pole put the positive factor at 78 percent. For a large portion of the country this is the first time they have seen the full on Trump and what he has already accomplished and the positive vision for the future. Most of what they know about him are highly filtered snipets they have caught on the Democratic socialist divisive propaganda channels, and they liked what they saw.
After seeing those women dressed in white - Well I think it is long past time we gave the women the right to vote.

I didn't see them not stand for her ovation. So I went and relooked at the videos. It appears some of them stood and then sat down before everyone else. But while watching it appears the group of military officials sitting up front never stood at all. Maybe they did and sat down early also. |

I just watched it. My concentration last night was less than it should have been. And after Listening to President Trumps speech in It's entirety I'm trying-without success I might add-to figure out HOW anything the President said could be misconstrued. I M H O straight forward and to and on point. BUT then I listened to some talking heads! Seems as IF they make a living misconstruing "things"! Far as the folks not standing-time I guess to RALLY start ignoring them. Lead Follow OR git the hell out of the way!  RIDE SAFE. |
