Pretty nice list, leaning a little bit towards super bikes (but the Honda Rune is there):
http://www.complex.com/sports/2011/03/the-50-greatest-motorcycles-of-all-time/honda-nr

I would add in the list the Goldwing (as it changed the way people think about motorcycle traveling) and even though I'm not a HD supporter, I would add the Fatboy there (mostly because of the style not because of the technology).

Which other bikes you guys think should be in the list?

Honda CB400-4
Yamaha RD400
Kawasaki Ninja 900
Yamaha 750 Triple shaftdrive

and so on until  the list is about 200 bikes and I WANT one of each.

It's a bit of a mixed bag isn't it? One of the most outragous superbikes back in the seventies/eighties was the Van Veen OCR, at the time only 38 were made, costing $15.000. You could buy two BMW's for that amount of money. A few years ago one was sold for 80.000 euro's. A nice read on this bike is this: http://www.odd-bike.com/2012/12/van-veen-ocr-1000-dutch-wankel-powered.html.

Something a bit older is the Brough Superior, which should have been on any list of greatest motorcycles. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brough_Superior

And finally, a modern bike, I would like to ad the Victory Vision. A stunning bike, and a shame that Victory had to close it's doors. https://rideapart.com/articles/victory-vision-long-term-review

The Vision is the best long distance touring bike I ever rode.  The styling love it, I know some hate but so what .  NOthing is as comfortable long distance as a Vision.

Definately an interesting article. My 2nd bike was a 1976 CB750F - related to the original CB750. 3rd bike was a 1981 CB750F - bought new in 1985 ( that was when all the Japanese makers had grossly over-estimated how many 750CC+ bike s they needed / right about the time that Harley got Congress to pass the over 700CC tarif - and all the Japanese did to respond was create the destroked / debored sub-700CC engined 750CC sized (and powered - they didn't lose anything to speak of)  bikes.

70's Kaw H1 500. One of the fastest stock bikes at the time.
I had a Tangerine orange one. The bike mag ad sold me.
Shot of an empty crate with smoke and debris flying,
The ad read, "125 out of the box".

And rightfully so!  cooldude
Good idea to post a youtube video. Here is a good one about the Van Veen OCR I talked about earlier. Both machines, the Munch and the Van Veen were in the same categorie in 1979, the most horsepower and the most expensive!

Honda CT70

Not kidding.  This was the mini bike that could go off road and had the power to do it.  Priced at about $375 it was an expensive mini bike, but this little 4 stoke outlasted all competitors.

And I still own 2 of them!

Very good read IMO.  I would add the GL1100 Goldwing also. Bullet proof pretty much like our Valkyries  cooldude

My favorite motorcycle of all time is whatever I'm riding at the time from BSA to Harley and Kawasaki to a Sears Bridgestone!!!  Smiley
