Having read of others satisfaction with Dyna beads I decided to also try them.

New Shinko Journey fitted to my front wheel and I use a 90 degree valve stem.

I propped the wheel up on 2 rolls of duct tape.

I followed the instructions and let some of the beads drop from the dispenser bottle, down the supplied tube and into the core less valve stem.

Immediately the beads plugged up the valve stem.   Sad

Not matter how hard i tapped the valve stem with a screwdriver nor the frequency of the taps the valve stem remained blocked with beads.

Removing the tube I cleared the valve stem and much more slowly started to allow the beads down the tube.

Allowing a very slow trickle of beads they passed through the valve stem and into the tire. Hurrah!

Riding about 500 miles over the weekend at various speeds and on a variety of road surfaces I'm pleased to say that all felt well.

No weights on the tire and red dot aligned with the valve stem and now to see if the mileage will improve, deteriorate or stay the same.

I've found it's easier with a squeeze bottle and a hose attached.

We use AirSoft ammo.. 2 oz in motorcycle tire 3 oz in car tire... You can buy at Wally World and add with a piece of garden hose before you set the bead.

I always thought you did magic Joe.  Picked up a stick and waved it around and say abra cadabra and it is balanced.   Grin

Hey Brit, easiest way (if using valve stem) is use longer hose (I use surgical tubing), pour 'em all in, & hit it with a shot of air from compressor.
(Be sure to hold hose on valve stem! Hose clamp might be recommended.) They'll install in 'bouta second this way everytime cooldude

I am out of my Dyna Beads from a purchase 2 years ago.  I am going to try that air soft.  Got 5000 rounds right behind me.

Dyna beads seemed to work for me the time I used them.

Ride On seems to work, and it stopped a leak for me once...

Stead of beads I'm using B Bs with Good results. Same weight(s) that Dyna Beads recommends on their website. I also KNOW they have NOT clumped up or rusted together cuz I back my Phatt Ghurl down my driveway to put her in her cave and I can hear them rollin around in there. And as a + a bit less spendy that the beads and I duz have a B B pistol for pesky cats and dogs.   Evil RIDE SAFE.

I like the Dyna beads and use them pretty much for a final type of balance. The beads below are basically the same exact beads at a much lower price. I dont remember the exact price, but for a 5 lbs container it was like 25.00. They even list some as motorcycle balancing beads. The correct size is the 1 mm.

NEW!!! EVEN LOWER WEAR QBZ-58A NOW AVAILABLE!!!
Click here for lab results that show QBZ-58A has less than
1/2 the mill wear and twice the life of electrofused Zr-Si beads!!!
