hotglue and flamingo babe ..

So i left out last thursday heading to dickson tennessee to meet up with crazyhorse , Tom and Joyce , Phil and Becky , and Jimmi G and #5  ..
Day1 Mac led us all on a great ride avoiding the storms down to beautiful Natchez Mississippi about 570 miles ate some tamales at "Fat Mammas"
Day 2 left out of Natchez heading tword the ferry to take us over to Galviston Tx we picked up mark on the way... beautiful weather my face is starting to burn, i look down and notice my mile counter has stopped at 99 no big deal i trudge on then when i gets to the ferry the speedo gives out on me also,
Had a great meal in GalvestonTx place on the gulf called "Nicks" left there post hast to alvin tx to the hotel for the night .... not sure of milage this day im thinkin close to 500 again
Day 3 Sat the day of the gathering a few of us shot over to the Houston space center to see some rockets and such then over to hotglues for the PartY !!! It was great times seen alot of old faces and some new .... was great to see T-bird  had a blast and i won two clipboards  2funny wasnt the jackpot but i was happy and the food .... holy smokes hotglue that was some good good stuff..thanks again .. not many miles this day maybe 100 at best
Day 4 everyone was heading home but i had other plans i shot north to Hill Country to see some family and ride some beautiful roads....stopped in round rock to givemy grandmother a ride on the Valkyrie
Had to ride thru a little bit of rain this day and there was a transformerthat blew up like 50 yards in front of us .the sky lit of blue and the ball glowed for a good 5 seconds before the fuse blew (I guess) little over 300 miles this day ....
Day 5 left out of grannys house down some beautiful back roads ... Hamilton pool was my first stop wow beautiful waterfall and plunge pond left there tword Fredricksburg Tx nice old town with lots to see around rode the devils backbone headed back to round rock !!another 500 mile day
Day 6 lounged around with my grandmother aunts and cousins did very little riding but left out of there about 8 pm and aimed to make it out of town aways before stopping getting late a semi truck flashes his lights at me im thinking cop up ahead but no a damn dead dear in the middle of my lane thankfully i was slowed and waiting for something .,.,got to Buffallo Tx about 1030 ,.,200 miles
Day 7 start off good then somewheres in louisiana my hubcap comes off my little pull behind trailer....well i never saw it or heard it come off but its gone by the first gas stop .,. So i trudge onto Winona mississippi for the night .another 500 mile day
Day8 almost home i start the bike and get ready i notice a front blinker out ? Trudge on 40 miles and onto the natchez trace parkway hit the parkway and my tach goes out along with blinkers and everyrhing else thats on that fuse i assume .... o well to close to stop now we trudge on get home around 230 pm yesterday....had a blast and notice my trailer tires have a bit more "camber" then normalso i lift it upand inspect.... damn it ... frame rusted thru and snapped no wonder ilooked like it was ready to fall apart  2funny it was. So back home it looks like  i have plenty of work to do before my next adventure....
Basically im saying i wouldnt have traded it for anything
Im going to try my luck at posting some pics .............
dont know how many miles for sure but it was a great time with great folks .....
Man i sure hope hotglue and flamingo babe change there minds about making this their last GOTF.....

Bill it was great to finally meet you    Glad you were ok !

Yeah, that was memorable BBQ and I sure can relate to having stuff fall off the bike or trailer mishap, my air suspension on the bushtec let go on the way to Michigan one year on way to Inzane.  Gman pulls along side and says Oss your burning rubber off trailer tires as they were rubbing on the frame itself   I pumped it back up and it held after that but ya dont want to lose a wheel on a trailer    Angry

Hope to see you again someday
