I having my seat sent to Russell long to be custom modified. Looking forward to a seat that is more comfortable for extended rides. It's going to be 4 weeks from time I send it in to get it back. I was wondering with all the wide experience on this board if anyone had a old seat they are not using that I could use till seat comes back I could borrow or buy if not to much. Will pay shipping or pick up if realatvely close. My bike is a 2015 gl1800. I sold my Valkyrie a few months ago. Thanks for any help Eddie

My old seat has a Russell on it  cooldude I expect you'll be happy... a Russell isn't an
"ah, that feels like my barcalounger" seat, it's a "dang, I'm outta gas again, I'll have to
stop" seat.

You should put your general location in your profile so people will
know if they are near you...

As mentioned above, neither of my Russell's were barcalounger seats. Neither one was an instant comfort spot. But it only took a few tanks to start getting that "I'm out of gas again?" realization. I consider it to be the best money I ever spent on my ST1100.

It sucks waiting for the seat but once you get it, you'll find it was worth the wait! It's one of the few seats(only?) by a big time player that's custom made for only your's and your partner's rears.

Unless I misunderstood, you are looking for a seat for a 2015 GL1800.

If I did misunderstand and your looking for Valkyrie seat, I would be happy to loan you a seat. Shipping would be from 46143.

Vanagon40 thanks for the offer. You are correct I'm looking for a seat for a gl1800 wing. I think the ones from 2012 up are the same. It's probably a long shot as most guys who want a better seat get the stock one modified as I am. I thought I would give it a try a see what's out there. I did sell my Valkyrie last fall just wanted something a little newer. Love the Valkyrie. Thanks again for offering.
