From a guy who usually gets items from silent auctions and the like, for less than their retail value, I was very impressed with the kind of money that was "donated" during the fund raisers.
Myself and my fellow riders at our table, pooling our funds together, then pooling that with another table, was impressive too.
This thought from a poster who read the news articular, sums it up nicely.
