Is there some trick to rotating images on postimage?

I see there are buttons for that, but clicking them does nothing. I have tried on both Chrome and Firefox. Am I missing something?

Looks like it's not just you, the rotate buttons do nothing for me either from within the Postimage webpage...

Ya' might need to save the image and rotate it from your OS and then re-uploade it to Postimage.

My new question is why do some uploads fail to properly provide the "Hotlink for forums."

I uploaded image below and the Hotlink for forums appears as "*url=https://postimg.org/image/6pni96gmb/**img*https://s5.postimg.org/hchbelorr/Nigerian_Man_Dies.jpg*/img**/url*" (with * denoting the locations of brackets)

When you click the image, you are redirected to the image at postimage.

But when I uploaded the image below, I got this Hotlink: "*url=https://postimages.org/**img]https://s5.postimg.org/pd07gtv3b/Calvin-and-_Hobbes-comic.jpg*/img**/url*"

Note that clicking the image takes you to the postimage site, but not to the image.

You can see the difference in the first and second links. The first link has the link for the photo after "url=" while the second link has simply "https://postimages.org/" after "url="

*url=https://postimg.org/image/6pni96gmb/**img*https://s5.postimg.org/hchbelorr/Nigerian_Man_Dies.jpg*/img**/url*

*url=https://postimages.org/**img]https://s5.postimg.org/pd07gtv3b/Calvin-and-_Hobbes-comic.jpg*/img**/url*

I cannot find any rhyme or reason for the difference.

Testing:

I played around a bit, and I got nothing, no idea why the one just gave the URL to the site and the other gives the URL directly to the image... =\
