Trump gave me some hope in the beginning, just like a whole bunch of us. As I listen to the constant bickering and his insistent daily defense about every little issue that comes along, I question if he will make it full term? To flex our missle muscles IMHO was pointless. Countries know we are capable of most anything. Do we have to prove it ?Or will this whole Trump excursion  implode due to a lack of solid direction.

If Trump would learn to shut his trap (not twitter about it) and let Sec of State run foreign policy,  things would be ALOT steadier. His Tweets are not making Rex Tillerson's  job any easier. On a news broadcast that they interviewed Tillerson on, when they asked about the tweets I got the distinct impression he wanted to say just that, but he was a good Trump loyalist instead. I'll grant that State should be carrying out the President's policy, but these instructions / briefings should be happening behind closed doors and not on the internet / in the press.

Just my opinion...

Let me start by saying that I voted for the man and am still willing to give a chance.

But, he has turned his administration into a world wide reality show.

But, it'll all end soon. Maxine is on the warpath to have him impeached.

Trump has not cornered the market on scandal. A lot of dirt is coming to the top on the other side now but you won't hear much about it on the mainstream media. I'm still a Trump supporter and will be as long as he is putting America first. If he is looked at as a failure now or in the future it will be because of his own party and their willingness to accept the status quo and do their best to kept their position in Congress.

I appreciate that the republicans have differing views and want their ideas heard but at the end of the day they must come to a consensus that everyone can live with and move the important initiatives forward.

Every day is a new scandal.....Quote by Baldo

Scandal. An act that is legally or morally wrong.

Trump's dumbarse tweeting is not a scandal.  He should give that up and just let his staff conduct business.

The media's willingness to scandalize all of his tweets is a scandal. They hate him, along with many of the Democrats and probably quite a few Republicans.  Business is definitely not as usual.

His pick of nomination to the SCOTUS and the Advise and Consent of the Congress still makes me glad that I voted for him instead of that Second Amendment hater and all of her cronies on the 'progressive' side.

On the whole he's doing good on promises with some unproductive side trips which he should stop.

Overall, he's a human just like the rest of us and has some unfavorable traits JUST like the rest of us.

I have seen no scandal in the Trump administration except those false ones reported by the media spurred on by the liberal left, including Russia that we find out that the DNC, Hillary, Obama and so much more have much more collusion than Trump.

I would say that Trump has done more in the time in office than any other president. I cant imagine the s storm he felt he walked into and continue in. I also cant imagine the effort required to straighten out Obama's planed land mines along with the republican and democratic corruptness.

If I was in the presidents position now I would seriously consider if it was worth it. I pray and hope for Trumps continued strength and ideas as he tries to steer this country out of the hands of corruption, new world order, and so many players that have sided against him. I see nothing bad that he has done and he has brought jobs, raised the stock market, lowered illegal immigration, saved the sovereignty of this country and sorted through much of the swamp to find out who would really be traitors or real players. We have seen sanctuary cities come under fire and started to be drained. We have seen him combat every dirty trick, leak, democratic plan to destroy him FAIL and he still has wins in so many areas that are never reported. Dont let the corrupt media that was shown to be corrupt in this admin take your eyes off the wins that Trump has accomplished.

We have seen history made in the questioning of how the Hillary debacle was handled and calling for a special prosecution. The calling of a special prosecution for Loretta lynch and much more. We have seen the policies of Obama diplomatic agenda fall to pieces with Iran and North Korea showing that they could give a dam about the sanctions and giveaways to secure peace. Only to have to confront them now in a possible war. We have seen the reshuffling of the world power structure with Trump exerting and flexing US muscle once again to stop blatant aggression and put the US on top again. So you think any of this would have happened under any other elected official?

So with this post I ask, who is the one giving up under this kind of extreme, enduring work that needs to be done and is being accomplished. I say as Americans we need to truly understand the embedded corruption and direction that has been in the government for years and realize to clean this out its not going to be instantaneous. Realize that its not going to give up easily and we are not going to hear the truth of victory from the media.

So smile and wave at all the naysayers and let them think you are a loony for supporting a president that is for the people for a change. Support a president you elected realizing the complexity of the work he is doing and who is ranting against him.

Enrique  says "Let me switch to Spanish so I will be more comfortable." Yet theres no mention of any translaters?????

At the beginning of the article it states "The transcripts were prepared by the White House but have not been released. The Post is publishing reproductions rather than original documents in order to protect sources. "

Anonymous sources again whose supposed words are worth as much as a old stale fart.

The Washington Post has been proven to be inaccurate, has used "unnamed" sources as the only source, and has had to walk-back stories and admit to falsehoods in their "reporting", yet the Left continues to use the Washington Post as "proof" during debate.  Why?

Can you imagine the gnashing of teeth and wailing in the streets if Fox News had published transcripts of Obama (pbuh)'s private phone calls while he was in the White House?

I swear, if it weren't for double standards some groups wouldn't have any standards at all.  tickedoff

What phone calls would you be referring to? We're talking about these particular calls that trump has, again, been proven to be a liar. And never mind that these calls are within days of him taking office, trashing our allies Heads of State.

There are so many leaks in this Administration because Trump is not respected by some of the staff that "serve" him. He's quick to blame his political misfortunes on others and is simply not able to see that he's the root of his problems. Stop governing and setting policy by Tweet. It's ridiculous and beneath the dignity of the Office he holds. The leaks and accompanying headlines will continue.

Interesting to see on this Board that some supporters are now questioning Trump's ability to govern. An objective look shows that his presidency to date has been chaotic and ineffective. Since Trump is not able to change, his presidency won't change. For the good of the country, I hope I'm wrong.

Last comment. Despite him railing on Obama for playing golf when he was supposed to be "working" for the American People, Trump  has certainly played at least the same amount if not more golf to-dat than Obama. The man is a narcissist hypocrite liar. It amazes me that many of his supporters just can't see this.

PASTOR: SENIOR REPUBLICAN TOLD ME OF PLAN TO “TAKE OUT” TRUMP
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAW0LpiXDMw

“He said there is a plot on Capitol Hill to take the president out, I said you mean by impeachment or by indictment – he said no, to take him out, he will be removed suddenly from office,” said Pastor Howard-Browne.

Pastor Howard-Browne  added that he asked if the Congressman meant remove by impeachment or indictment  and the Congressman replied that  “you can read between the lines”.

According to Pastor Howard-Browne the Congressman, who he said has been in office since 1996, told him there was nothing they could do to stop the plot from going forward.  And he added that the deep state was at war with Pres. Trump because of his support to the evangelical community.

So you get Trump out and you get your way? Then what?
No biggie for me as I have always liked Pence better. He was great for my state.

We must be blind. We wouldn't be supporters if we saw what you liberals see. Thank god for that.

I voted for Kasich in the Primary and would have voted for him over Hillary in the General Election if he was the candidate. I held my nose and voted for Hillary because IMO, anybody was better than Trump.

Just because I live in Massachusetts don't assume I vote Democratic and I'm a liberal. I vote for politicians that I believe have the experience, intellect and temperament to successfully get things done and move the country forward.  Trump has none of these. And he proves it every day.

You seem to mirror my politics pretty closely. But as time goes on with all this bullshit, I find myself getting more pissed at Clinton all the time for this. She screwed us as a country big time with her dumb ass Server issue, and other things.

I wonder why he is going to the pulpit with this information instead of to the Secret Service?  Or why the congressman is telling his story to the "Holy Ghost Bartender" instead of to the Secret Service?

If Trump would learn to shut his trap (not twitter about it) and let Sec of State run foreign policy,  things would be ALOT steadier.

...
Too late.  In today's news, if true, is yet another foot-in-mouth / kick in the pants to the administration

https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2017/politics/australia-mexico-transcripts/?hpid=hp_hp-top-table-main_trumpcalls-915a-flipper%3Ahomepage%2Fstory&utm_term=.fd2286972a0d

Why?
Sadly for you, Bloomberg has also picked up the story and is confirming the details

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-08-03/trump-transcripts-show-fraught-relationships-with-world-leaders

Why sadly for me?

And that wasn't an answer to my question.

This is where I shake my head and wonder how people can be so SELFISH.

You didn't vote for Clinton because she was better than Trump for the country,..... You voted because it would be better for you.  For whatever reason, I care not to guess which, you voted for Clinton because it was beneficial for YOU.

We KNOW she sold spots within our gov't.  We KNOW she sold favors.  We KNOW Bill got triple and quadruple his speaking fees to banks and foreign countries while she was in office.  We KNOW she had at least 30,000 e-mail conversations that the world will never know about, that she committed a felony to hide.  We KNOW she lied about where she was and what she knew and who she communicated with while 4 Americans died in Benghazi.  Yet all we knew about Trump was that he wasn't presidential.  But you voted for the betterment of the country.........  BULLSHIT!
