Tsk...tsk....now boys!

Ross, I know that feeling re. the T-Bird. When I got transferred to New Hampshire, Pease AFB, in '59, there was a "like new" '56 advertised in the local paper. Just for kicks I went to look at it, mostly because the price was well below market...it was only 3 yrs. old. From a distance it was pristine, but soon as I opened the door it bowled me over. Long story short....a local guy had died in it and nobody found him for quite a while. I checked with various shops in the area to see if it could be recovered, found out they had already looked at it and passed, told me there wasn't any way to get the smell out without tearing the insides completely out. Then would involve heated pressure washing at a minimum with no guarantee it would work. I also passed on it, the family finally had it crushed after pulling the running gear, car had less than 10k on it. The local paper even had a picture of the crushed car....showed a before and after.
