I've always been a big fan of his music. I saw this film a short time ago. Well worth the time to watch if you can find it...

Wow. 70 albums.  Pretty darn good showman in his time.  Who can forget the Glen Campbell Goodtime hour that ran for a few years.  I remember he had this regular John Hartford that could pick the heck out of a banjo.

Had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Glen back in the 90s when he would visit Palm Springs.  Was always a gentleman.  I guess heaven has acquired another great guitar player.

I remember that show! I will also always remember John Hartford, another one we lost much too soon.   He played on Johnny Cash's variety show pretty often as well.  I acquired lots of Hartford's music, and he became one of my all-time favorite artists.  Worth looking in to if you're not familiar with his music.

I remember Steve Martin picking a banjo on Glen's show. Then a blast from the past this morning on the news it showed that same flashback, both of them with a big old grin on their faces. Steve sure could do some major pickin' back when, often wondered if they kept in touch.

If she were still alive....my Mom would be so sad. When I was a teen and still had brown hair, she thought I looked like Glen. Never saw the resemblance myself though.

He was a great talent, and will be missed by many fans.
