It's a good subject and a correct analysis of what seems to be happening.  The title of the thread, though, looks like an oft misunderstanding of the meaning of that quote.

The sentence quoted is more completely, "If you abide in My word you are My disciples indeed.  And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free."  He also said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life."

Yes but it won't all fit in the title bar. And the point of the subject matter was not meant to be religious in nature...more just a point to make about where our ever increasing "PC" society and our institutions seem to be generally heading. It just seems that the freight train called the slippery slope is heading for a broken tressell.

When linking to the above files, I came across a few Stossel videos.  If you want see the downward spiral of our society, watch a bunch of these.  The conservatives will agree and get pissed off.  The Libs/Progs will hate him and get pissed off.  Either way, you can't deny there's some really stupid $hit going on and our gov't really doesn't have the best people in place with our welfare in mind.

The PC attitude of the "so called" Liberals has poisoned government and higher education almost beyond the point of no return. I can't even watch the news here in Canada any more...it makes me sick to see what is going on. There are those who call themselves "Classic" Liberals now because they don't want to be painted with the same tainted brush as the likes of Pelosi, or in my country...Trudeau the juvenile man-child.
