Seems I'm posting something new, what a shame that it even happened.

At around 8:30 am local Vancouver time, a female stunt rider died while performing a stunt for the upcoming Deadpool 2 moving being filmed in Vancouver BC downtown near the waterfront.

It seems it was her 5th run on the stunt, which ended in her death.

that sucks,  sounds like a fluke incident since she had done the stunt several times prior with no issues.

The original Deadpool was definitely a different type of movie, in an odd sort of way I really liked it, something different.

Possible complacency? I know the pilots that were performing the same airshow over and over while going around South America day after day seemed to get "comfortable" until there was what looked like some very close calls.

Rest In Peace to both the stunt rider and Indian Larry, my birthday will never be the same since he passed away on it.

Another Sister I Never knew!  Cry R I P darlin. On the complacency thing-Uncle Sugars Canoe Club taught me well to NOT git complacent. No matter HOW ya slice it a lousy day for stunt people and riders.  Undecided Didn't Indian Larry test his new bikes out by standing on them at speed sans lid? RIDE SAFE.

O2S, if I remember right (?) Indian Larry wasn't wearing a helment. I think that falls under complacency.  He'd done that stunt time and time again just like the last time.
